In my fantasy league of 8, Toskala was one of the goaltenders who actually didn't get drafted.

Also, what the heck is this thread supposed to be about?

I am so jonesing for the regular season, can't really do any Statisticing until after the first games are played!

Ditto...and I haven't forgotten about your sig yet...it's coming. There is also an ongoing project to update and improve the NL standings chart as well as my MN# sig, so that may be holding things up.

Oh and for the first day, the stats are simple...just post 50% for everything! :lol:

'I felt sorry for Vesa,'' Sundin said. ha ha. i don't.

And Toskala was supposed to improve Toronto's goaltending.... It may just be the preseason but it looks like another spring on the golf course. :D

Glad the Leafs solved their goaltending problems in the off season... Veteran "leaders: were invisible. Tucker has once again showed that he is only good to bang in cheap goals; take cheap shots and completely fail defensively.

Leaf Nation:BAIL NOW!!!!, or get USED to it!!!

Clemmenson and Pogge outplay Raycroft and Toskala in preseason, yet they'll both be in the minors to start the season! Pity! That was some aweful goaltending and even worse team play. Wheres the consistenacy? At least in the loss Ottawa they played great but tonight was just pathetic..... games like this kill my playoff beliefs......

And this Toronto team is supposed to make the playoffs?? Gimme a break, Nel Carter! The postseason is a long shot at best!

Might only be Pre-Season but Leafs looke awful.....reminded of the Pat Quinn country club atmosphere out there....poor effort especially in net...make you wonder why JFJ signed Toskala to an extension right away without proving himself..what did he think he stole the KFC secret? No wyou know why JFJ did not get his extension cause the freight train is headed right for him...if this team fails and they have the receipe do due so he will be replaced quickly or at least should be this is MSLE we are talking about.....One thing for sure paul cannot be happy with this effort all on fronts even though it is pre-season his team stunk and they played with litttle passion. The Leafs like usually do not have the skill to play like at 50% they just do not have the speed or skill.....long live the Leafs losing ways......they look no different than they did.......if I was the coach I would be making them skat twice tomorrow and then makes the necessary cuts to trim the roster down to about 30 people......I was just put back as I get most fall seasons to rush home and see the Leafs only to see them being man handled by some fast kids...my hat is off to the buffalo organization for the depth they have.....good job....Leafs should buy their playbook and management from top to bottom....if we lost our top 2 guys whoever they are w would fold our tent and have a parade anyway.....Leafs suck forever.....41 years and counting....

Pylons still available! Can serve in a pinch as a top 4 defense man or a goalie! Act quickly while supplies last Toronto!

Who me??? Well... once the season starts I will be the scout myself for the Pittsburg Penguins (and wildcard for other teams including our illustrious Habs) ... keep an eye open for Penguins Poop (not literally... I won't throw it at you) and my Penguins on ice feature. I also post odds stats etc. as well as an Ice Chips update feature (unless HTL beats me to it) for all Eastern Conference teams. I make predictions (not very good at this even though I tied for first over all and in the playoffs last year... forget the other guy, he's a has-been this year). I write poems (if you want to call them that... and songs), dance with the best of the MN crew on occasion and probably post too much.

Of course it could be any of my alter egos... you know... the Admiral, brianw6, HHN and on occasion Smiegel pops in.

Do Jedi's wear black and gold... well at least he ones from the "ROCK". Talking about the "ROCK", I think NG29 is mad at me :( didn't like the thing about sidewalks I guess.

Dont worry about her. Ill go to St. Johns and beat her up for you. I didnt get what you said about sidewalks either. Our town doesnt have sidewalks. And jedis wear green and blue, green for the land and blue for the toronto maple leafs.
