roy_133
man that was playoff huet tonight:bow:HUET HUET HUET HUET Been in playoff form for a while now... How lucky are we, we always find a way to get the goaltending, I expect to see Huet Friday, Aebischer saturday, then hopefully right back to Huet, I don't think starting him night after night is a good idea, but let's keep getting this guy in as much as possible without wearing him down. Guest habs_fan1160
hE got a standing ovation last night...People got up and started chanting his name much louder than usual...was awesome! Kinda makes you wonder for how long though. I remember a time when they chanted Theo's name so loud it shook the seats. Onto Huet's game last night, what a solid performance by him. He played outstanding, and had it not been for Murray's goal on Huet I think that he could have ran it for a shutout. The one thing I noticed about Huet is he'll make all these unbelivable stops and stands on his head but once he let's that first goal in he looks a little shakey and a few more follow. I'm sure getting scored on by his own player was a bit frustrating though. Anyway, he's a great goalie, glad to have him on the team. Thanks again for saving our butts in the NHL! LesBoys
Na i dont want him in the allstar game.. A chance to get hurt for no real reason.. + Huet is to much of a stand up guy. Best we keep him close, i could just picture him getting friendly with someone else and then wanting to go there in a few yrs. Or something I say we lock him up and dont let him out to do anything but play hockey. As hes our lil secret weapon Shhh dont tell anyone
Guest SpecialK
When I first saw Huet play last year in place of Theodore, I was saying to everyone, he's the one. His style reminded me of Richter in 1994 winning the Cup. They should have won last year but moving on.... Huet when in the zone is simply a machine. Last 2 out of 3 goals he let in was off his defensman. Not fair in the stats. lol
LesBoys
I remember the first game i saw of him last yr. He went behind the net to fetch the puck, Made a bad pass that went to the opposing team and they scored on us. This was litteraly 5 mins after we pulled theo, and i said here we go again Seems like this yr, he's been having a bit of trouble behind there again. But no big slip ups. All that matters
Guest Hoser
Cris continues to make the NHL look foolish for leaving him off the All-Star ballot... But I don't really care 'cos that just means he can take the All-Star break off and rest up! Fantastic game tonight by Huet, good stuff as always! I think it's actually good that there aren't many Habs players on the all-star nomination. It will give them a chance to rest up for the games that actually mean something. Some of the players will need the rest to heal injuries anyway.
