Guest MTL_RULES
I know - huge mistake on Carb if you ask me. When a goalie is hot you can't just disrupt it, sit him on the bench and let him sit out a game. We should be utalizing 100 per cent of Huet until he's not so solid anymore. Abby is NOT playing, Huet is anyone who says otherwise, LIES!

Guest natey2k4
I'm confused...Yesturday, they said on RDS that Abby was playing and this morning, they says on the web site that this is Huet.... http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/217937.html It says Aebi is starting on RDS. David Aebischer est de retour devant la cage du Canadien.
anne-1
It says Aebi is starting on RDS. David Aebischer est de retour devant la cage du Canadien. I know, cause they changed it this afternoon. This morning, the article was saying that Huet was playing tonight. Little mistake by RDS !!!! Guest JL
Huet has finally convinced me that he wants the starting job in Montreal with his performances in the past few games. :thumb:
franck5890
Huet has finally convinced me that he wants the starting job in Montreal with his performances in the past few games. :thumb: For me, it's been that way since the game after his second loss to Buffalo. You could tell he wanted to come back with a vengeance, as he wasn't impressed with himself. Heck, look at his stats for the month of November: http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&pa...layerId=8469658 6-1 in his seven starts November (7-1 in his last 8!), a .959 SV% in those starts, and a 1.43 GAA. Yikes! But it is true, JL, that Huet has the taste of that starting job on his tounge.. And it seems that he likes it!

roy_133
I've been saying all along, that I feel Huet is the better goalie, even when Aebischer was hot, and Huet wasn't, Huet just looked better between the pipes imo, doesn't give up the rebounds, has amazing control of his body, is always in position, he's so smart and cool in the net... What this guy has done for this team in his 50 games here is unreal... 26-13-6, 8 SO, 2.17 GAA, .931 SV% Simply amazing...

Guest Un_Lavalois
And yet it's not enough to get him considered for an All Star game spot, tss, I hope he makes them look dumb by winning the Conn Smyte:five:
Makal22
Yeah apparently he's not as "proven" as the other guys...which is true, he hasn't even spent a full year (maybe, almost a year). This year is his settling year. I think Abby needs some lessons of Huet on composure and not going all over the place.

Guest Karinne
I read on Francois Gagnon's blog(cyberpresse.ca) that Huest didnt get an all-star invite because at the moment of selection, he wasnt that hot and Abby stats were even better than him..Ballot Selection was made on Oct 31. As someone else pointed, all-star game, albeit fun, isnt worth nothing. If we exchange Abby and get a real back up goalie, Huet is gonna see more action than ever, let him rest and lets not risk him being injured there. Guest Guvnar
If you look at Huet's Career stats they are actually quite impressive he just never got a chance until Theo started to stink. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&pa...layerId=8469658 Career regular season stats 2.29 GAA .921 SV% in 103 GP
