The-Vitranian-Echo
That's the thing with Huet... He is the NHL's finest goalie on one shot, and then reminds us of Theo on the next.... Thankfully, it was enough for tonight's game.... Just think of what the score could have been.....

Guest Captain Koivu#11
Huet played alright tonight, and made a couple NICE saves to keep us in the game. The team played pretty good tonight, and at least we got 1 point for our efforts.
zts1986-bs9
as a sabres fan, i'd like to wish Huet the best and hope he isnt injured severly or at all for that matter...he's a GREAT tallent and made some amazing saves this game and has a bright future in the NHL. hopefully he'll be back on his feet in time to play the maple-laughs tomorrow night, but i doubt it he's definitely a guy i'm going to be watching all year long. again....get will soon Cristobal! GIJAYNE
What does that article say?? Basically he was not hurt, only had cramps. I can suggest using google translation on the article, but most of it does not make sense... http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=e...2006-01,GGLG:en

Guest TORHABSFAN
Huet had better be ok! I want him at 100% vs. the Leafs tonight. I hate to say it but if he is feeling anything negaitive at all the we have got to start Aebi. We can't risk Huet's long term health for 1 game even if it is vs. the Leafs. Having said that Please Please Plesase lord let Huet be in top form tonight! HUET HUET HUET HUET HUET HUET HUET HUET!!!!

The-Vitranian-Echo
Here’s what it says as far as Huet is concerned. Christobal Huet did not injure himself when he stretched out his left leg the extreme to stop Daniel Briere who sped towards him on the first shootout attempt. The French goalie seemed frozen after that on the attempts which lead to goals by Afinogenov and Vanek. He barely moved. “I was a victim of cramps.” Explained Huet, who admitted finding the evening a difficult one vs the Sabers. They are “bothersome”. They spent the evening passing each other the puck. Guest Godfather
Naw Huet stated that he was a victim of cramps and he said they wer'nt difficult to stop...so..if he found the likes of Briere,Vanek, and Afinogenov not difficult to stop then Tucker,Sundin,Peca should be a walk in the park
Guest sportsfreak_39
I think the cramps may be bothering him b/c the Gazette reported Aebischer is starting 2nite.
Yann-Fan
I honestly think from watching the replays that he slightly strained his groin or something, cause the look on his face and the awkward and stretching motion dont seem like cramps to me, i think they just dont want anyone to worry cause it is not serious just maybe needs a day to heal...thats my opinion! I think so too, Aebischer is perfectly capable of stepping in for a couple games anyways, we have no need to rush Huet.
Guest Godfather
This is Aebi's chance to prove his worth...a victim of being a "Tweener" goaltender. Too good to be a back up but not good enuff to be a starter.

tommyv
Great game by Huey last night, he looked alittle shakey on the novotny goal because he followed the puck carrier to aggressively, and utlimately novotny should have been covered. Either way he made some incredible stops that even allowed us to take the point we got home, i was alittle uncomfortable with all the reports that Huet was looking shakey in pre-season and that he wasnt playing too well, but last nights game proved to me i have nothing to worry about, had the defence in front of him covered there players and cleared the puck better, he would have came away with 2 goals scored on him only and a handful of specatcular saves. That glove hand is godly to say the least, Even Mcguire had to admit that last night, Huet might go down quickly but his angles are covered and if you try to even shoot high when he sees the puck, its being snagged.
