Guest Hoser
Ok, with the CHL season just getting underway, I think we could use a thread to keep track of all our boys. Weber, Subban, and Fortier are playing tonight. Subban already has a goal and an assist (his team lead's 5-0 through two periods) and Weber has a goal. Fortier scored in his first game but nothing so far tonight.

Guest overlords
Great idea. Nice to see subban is already lighting it up! Not too sure how far weber or fortier will ever get with us but i'm glad they're doing well
Guest 1970 Habs
Isn't there separate player threads for this?
Guest Hoser
Isn't there separate player threads for this? It's easier to keep track of everything if its in one thread. Intense player discussion can go in the player's thread, but scores and such can go in here. Cool? Great idea. Nice to see subban is already lighting it up! Not too sure how far weber or fortier will ever get with us but i'm glad they're doing well Ya, Subban had an amazing game. Supposedly his goal came off a 101 mph slapshot - not too bad! Overall it sounds like his defensive play has improved a whole lot, hope he can put together a great season. He may just be the offensive dynamo defenseman we've been looking for. Thanks Hoser, great initiative! Hey, figure it's about time I contributed something around here...
AK-1
101 mph?.... :o Wow. I will definitely be keeping track of PK's stats this season!
Guest Hoser
Tomorrow Subban has another game, against Oshawa at 7:15. Cepek is also playing, against Kooteny. Everyone else has the night off.

I would not be surprised if the Mods shut this thread down. However I think I will stick to the "In the System" Player Threads.
Guest overlords
Not for me as there will now be two places to discuss these players. I would not be surprised if the Mods shut this thread down. However I think I will stick to the "In the System" Player Threads. I think it's a good idea because we can just come to this thread to see how ALL of our CHL prospects are doing at once. There are game-day threads for our AHL prospects are there not? Why should the chl'ers be swept aside? Most people don't even know half of our CHL prospects and don't venture too far into their player threads, here people can quickly get a grasp of who's who and such. AND 101 MPH SLAPSHOT??? Didn't souray have trouble breaking 100 mph at the skills comp last season?? If that's true and this guy is doing that this early in the season at the CHL level, he might (and i don't want to jinx this) develop the fastest slapshot in the NHL one day.... Guest Hoser
Subban with one assist as his team trails 5-3 to the Generals. Cepek's team leading 1-0 but he has no points. That is all.
Guest Hoser
Subban's night is over, 5-3 Oshawa. He had one assists. Cepek has 2 assists, with his team leading 3-0. Fortier is the only CHLer with a game tomorrow, against Victoriaville.

Guest Hoser
so we only have 3 prospects in the chl? Maxwell and White are still at Habs camp, but both will head back to the WHL when cut, and that's it. Cepek was named first star, his team won 6-3. They're 2-0 this season - which is an amazing accomplishment, actually. The Oil Kings are an expansion team with virtually no drafted players - Cepek is their number-one defender by a mile, to give you an idea. Cepek is a guy I feel is very underrated - he's getting a ton of experience playing on horrible teams and that's probably good for his development in the long run. If only he can stay healthy... Guest montreal
so we only have 3 prospects in the chl? We have 6 in the CHL. 3 in the WHL (White, Maxwell, Cepek), 2 in the OHL (Subban, Weber) and 1 in the Q (Fortier) If you want to see what league our prospects are playing in check here, it has them listed by league http://habprospects.com/modules.php?name=C...ories&cid=
Guest Hoser
Cameron Cepek had a goal and his team lost in OT. Fortier had an assist. No games tonight, seems like there's a big break in the OHL's schedule for some reason. Again, Cepek is a guy I think you people should pay some attention too... BTW, it'd be nice if someone else could keep this thread up-to-date... my computer is broken so I can't get on here very often this week.

Guest Hoser
Fortier is injured, I think. Didn't play tonight, anyway. Subban had a goal and two assists as the Bulls blast the Frontenacs 11-2. White and Maxwell are without points, each through one period of play.
