Guest keithman
Who is the backup for tonight? Huet is 2 goals on 6 shots, not 3 as some said above. however, it's still not good. he didn't have a chance on first goal, though, in a sense. he should've stayed in net rather than gone around, brisebois was there anyways. it made for some mis-communication

Guest Habsy1
Let's not forget that the Habs had a powerplay and about 3 good chances to score in that first period. But what else is new, they couldn't finish the job and put the puck in the net.

Guest HabSteve
gainey on ckac: - called the camp "positive" , think they accomplished everything they wanted -players who caught his attention: didn,t want to mention people since he said he already knew about them before the camp, everyone did what was expected of them. -doesn't know who will be #2 goalie, said there was "different opinions right now" -talked about sergei kostsytsin being a long term decision and the fact that him and timmins are better placed than the coaches to make those decision. -they won,t place any defensmen on waivers (I guess O'Byrne is going down then) -he talked about his team being a 26 player team, saying some players will come and go between montreal and hamilton since they can do it without going trough waivers. -Halak may start #2 right now, but he said Price may be in his place at the end of october, (I have a feeling those 2 will travel between hamilton and montreal..) -said he still is pasionate about being a GM, and talked about the fact that is first group of young guy (higgin, komi) now has to melt with the 2nd group and the 3rd group later.. -all in all typical gainey, not saying too much while talking a lot
