Guest jfk0202
He has got to stop that ridiculous trip through the right faceoff circle on his way to the net. Everyone and his brother has figured out that move. Even Maguire commented that you cut off half your shooting lanes by coming in at such an angle. He needs a few moves but cutting through the faceoff circle (ie coming from the side) does work. It forces the goalie to make a lateral movement. Kovalchuk scored on the same type (mind you he didnt shoot into his pads like Pleks). And if you all remember one of Jussi Jokinen's two moves last year came through the right face off circle. It was a poor effort on the shot but the coming through the circle has nothing to do with it. Pleks needs another move is the problem so he can switch it up. Most good shootout players have a few moves they go back to. And since when do we listen to what Pierre says????? One bad game and we all start listening to him......a sad day it is.
