Guest CanadianMike
Him winning a few faceoffs shouldn't put him ahead of better defensive players who are willing to give it their all from start to finish. oh don't get me wrong..I agree. I am just trying to find some logic as why he is in (while Lapierrs sits). I think one of my first posts after we got this guy was that he would be useless. Good guy, but he is end of his career and doesn't have a space with this team IMO. Oh well. We only have to suffer for this season with him. To me this means sitting smoke and inserting Lapierre. I guess it also means stopping line suffle. I can't believe that Gainey picked this guy over Bonk last summer!!!! Not that I'm complaining about Gainey's overall performance!!!

Guest bigsby
he must have had the most scoring opportunities of any hab tonight...if only he could bury those chances...outstanding effort.
Guest JL
His season is not without reminding me of Radek Bonk's first year with us. Slow start, fans on his case, he then turned his season around, playing very good defensive hockey with a bit of a lack of polish offensively. Still very valuable though. Way to go Smoke! His experience will be very valuable in the playoffs.

Guest JIMVINNY
I have a feeling that once the playoffs start, we're going to see the Bryan Smolinski everyone though we had signed. He been playing very well the last few weeks, and I expect that trend to continue deep into our run. Good defensive play, clutch faceoff performer, and can chip in a few points when needed. That's the Smoke I expect.
Kindred
The past few games Bryan has started to round out into form out there. Opening up space for his teammates, working hard along the boards. Doing the little things that we need him to do out there. Also over the past 2 games he has been over 70% in the faceoff circle

fourtrax
He has been a faceoff monster for the past month. Can't argue that. He has indeed been gold on draws.
Guest 1stroundpick
I havent checked the stats much but I think he has more points than tenderness a Littlerock (Lapierre) He didnt have the impact that we thought he would from day 1 but as he gets more ice time and gets to play with guys he is comfortable with. He looks better now than he has looked all season so Id rather that than the opposite. He could have an awesome season and stunk when it counts. Do your thing when the real season starts Smoli !
