ColRouleBleu
how true, thank you roman for the bonehead penalty that lead to the booins first goal, this to me was the turning point of the game , not the 2nd goal. the booins took the game from us starting with this ... all the rest was the result of a collective free fall
Guest old-time Habs fan
Love the way Roman has stepped up all aspects of his game here in the playoffs, he was destroying Nokalienen again all night lol A tiny beacon in this bust, where all the parts begin to rust; offensively, we're on the fence, on third thought, there is no defense! That call on Hamrlik was the softest call I have ever seen. Not to mention the call on Montreal previous to that call. I don't believe for a second that it should have been penalized. I don't believe for a second that it should have been penalized. I agree on both counts. Unbelievable inconsistency from game to game. I think the calls have been fair to both teams however. But Hamrlik's penalty was insane - What was he supposed to do - move aside so the B player could go around the net? "Oh, no - I insist -After You!" ColRouleBleu
I agree with what you guys are saying, it's just that I was a bit sick and tired of hearing that the turning point of the game was Price's gift for the second goal. The Booins were on a roll way before that.
ColRouleBleu
Roman, what the heck happened on that 5th goal and please shave that ugly gnome beard, somehow i'm sure it's responsible for that horrible last shift

Guest jennifer_rocket
you could ask the same question to the other 4 guys on the ice as well, including number 27 That whole play was basically Montreal's 5 being lazy, and Marco Sturm working his butt off. If you're a fan of Boston you LOVE that goal. Especially when he, not once, but twice beat Hamrlik in the corner for the puck.
Guest QbGamer
He has a pretty accurate shot. The slapper in the othe rgame that went in, the wrist shot in last game off of the post. If that wrist shot goes in, we win the game. So sad

Guest JL
By far our best and most consistent defenseman since the start of the playoffs. Talk about raising your play a couple of notches!

fansince1948
This guy has been a warrior and a monster for us and gets little credit. If I were Carbo I would use him on the PP to go to the front of the net and stay there to create havoc. The other guys, with the exception of Koivu and sometimes Pleks, are all standing off to the side, not in position to screen Biron or to tip in shots. We need a big body like Hammer there to get the PP back working and I'm sure the extra work wouldn't affect his defensive role. Hammer does have scoring ability and it should be utilized. leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Roman Hamrlik should have an "A" if you ask me. I think he would a far better representative for assistant captaincy right now than Higgins. No offense to Higgins, but he's not quite ready to be wearing an "A". Go Hamrlik! Perhaps they will reevaluate who's wearing the letters next season.
teststory
He did a pretty good job overall though he fell of a bit at times during the playoffs. Was he injured also? Strong season and he was good at times versus Boston, but fell off a bit. Still a big upgrade over Souray.

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
The "A" should go to Komisarek Perhaps, but who played better in the post-season? Hamrlik has been more consistent on defense ALL YEAR LONG, compared with Markov or Komisarek. That's why I feel like he would a good assistant captain. Komisarek will make a good assistant soon, though!
jl-1
Great season for Hammer, but what's most amazing is how he elevated his play during the playoffs. What a hockey player.
