Guest AlexOscar
Yeah, Zetterberg has been really good this year. I'm also very pleased to see Filppula picking up the pace, the whole line actually. Detroit has such depth. Too early to say (as always) but I would rank them number one as my favourite to win the Stanley Cup. They are that good.
Guest ribz&ryder_connexion
They can come in 1st in the NHL for as long as they want, they still won't win the cup, especially with Hasek in nets. Give 30+ shots a game and it's all over, just like when we used to cream him in Ottawa.
Guest maad
since detroit is my second favorite team, and next season cristo won't be back with us, i'd like him to go to detroit...

Guest 1970 Habs
Detroit beats Dallas 4-1. After 40 games they have 63 points (9 better than Ottawa) and only 8 losses. They have a league leading goal differential of 53 (141 GF to 88 GA). Definitely the team to beat this year.

Agreed Detroit is by far one of the best Regular season teams for several years now. They always and will again this year not make it to the Finals. They lack something when it comes to playoffs. I think their goal tending is weak. Hasek : the guy is done, move on. Osgood: He is by far one of my favorite goalies. Hes good but i dont think he can carry them to the cup.
