One of the luckiest teams in the NHL. I'd love to have Marty between the pipes for the Habs.

I think all fans say that with a different team inserted. (except maybe Vancouver)

I watched the game between the devils and Tampa tonight and I have to say that new arena is empty and eerily quiet. After a New Jersey goal it was those scattered claps you hear when the habs score on the road of the few hundred fans that travelled to see the game. Their goal horn is really bad too.

I found that goal horn sounded very well tonight. :) And a hat trick for Jay Pandolfo, that's true he's such a big star in the league.

So much thanks to the devils. :)

i actually think that the next time we meet the devils, we are going to beat them. Martin is getting slower and our 5 on 5 is gradually improving. We use to rely on special teams, but the Ds barely take penalties....anyways habs are going to win the next game.

Well hopefully Montreal comes down to earth after the blowout to Boston.

One way or another we will definitely know after tonight. :D

New Jersey signs Holik, Rolston, Pandolfo and Salvador but pass on Brylin

Just hours before bidding could begin on other teams' free agents, the Devils came to terms with Pandolfo and fellow forwards David Clarkson and Barry Tallackson, along with sturdy defenseman Salvador - who came to New Jersey at this year's trade deadline.

Pandolfo signed a three-year deal in which he will earn $2.5 million per season. Salvador will be paid $2.9 million for each of the next four seasons, and Clarkson signed a two-year contract that will pay him $800,000 next season and $875,000 in the 2009-10 season.

Brian Rolston signed a US$20-million, four-year contract with the New Jersey Devils

OMG!!! GET BIG BIRD OVER HERE NOW!!!!!!!!

Sorry, but in the article Lamoriello also said Robinson will revert to his previous post as a special assignment coach. He is indeed staying with New Jersey.
