The way Montreal is playing right now...he can stay in Hotlanta! If They are out of it in Feb...and we're in need of some "O"....BG can call Waddel then. I'm liking the prospect of 1a & 1b with Price & Huet...forget "#1" & "backup". Knowing that either guy can play against anyone in the league is a nice feeling. Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!
Great to see Price playing. This should be a great confidence boost for him as Montreal has a good chance to win although you never know. If Price can play well and make the big saves when necessary, Montreal's offense should put the game in the bag. Here's hoping Hedburg collapses like he routinely does. Guest scarface
you know what they say, u always tend to let up a bit with the bad teams. they are the 1's that can throw in a monkey wrench on your scoring parade. atlanta is still dangerous regardless their record. it's just a matter of time before this team starts gellin. on the other hand, our boys are quite surprising as of late.lets hope they can keep it rocking. i wanna see them walk into the ACC with a 5 game win streek. by the way,the LEAFS are getting shelled tonight, lol! 6-1 CAPS in the 2nd. god i luv it!! In effect Gonchar got away with ramming an opponents head into the boards with no penalty. (2 seconds left in OT) Players somehow should be held more accountable in this situation - man I wish it were still the Ferguson era - Gonchar's weasle nose would be hanging way over to one side! Edit : Why should a guy have to be seriously injured to incur a suspension. That was a for sure cheap hit.

I'm like you, from the old school, and I strongly believe in enforcers, in canning the instigator rule and letting the players police themselves to a point. Ah, JL - you and I are brothers from different Mothers. And prey tell, what would be the reaction of the fans when Ferguson hopped over the boards. It would be worth the price of the tickets right there. Sorry to be off topic, perhaps the rest of you can bring it back - lol! Edit : The hit is made far worse for us because "little" Frankie has been playing so "big" for us of late. Injured for no good reason - if indeed he is out because of the Gonchar hit. Guest ribz&ryder_connexion
To be honest I'd rather lose this game to Atlanta, who's season has already gone downhill, than to lose on Saturday versus the MakeMe Laughs.

Guest hatethoseleafs
Any team is capable of winning on any given night. Let's hope the boys give it a 60 minute effort in support of Price's first game at the Bell Center. GO HABS P.S. Guest Greek Hab
To be honest I'd rather lose this game to Atlanta, who's season has already gone downhill, than to lose on Saturday versus the MakeMe Laughs. same here, im going saturday and i dont want to have a loss at my first habs-leafs game. but every point counts and hopefully we can win all 3 games this week! What about the game in between that? I think that game has a significant importance. They way I look at it, our home stretch is fairly important. Atalanta: Prove to ourselves, the league, annalists, and the media that we're not going lose against slumping teams. We've already lost against a low-point-total team(Florida in OT). Let's not have that happen again after we've played 2 of the top offensive teams in the east. We are showing confidence in letting Price play between the posts, but let's not leave him out to dry. Help him out. Philly: I look at this game, like the game we played against Colorado last season. Although we play the Flyers more than once, Colorado(of 06-07) and Philly(of 07-08) have one thing in common...Montreal's public enemy #1...Briere(is the 06-07 version of Jose). We need to show Daniel what he could have been apart of. *Now even though some people didn't want Briere here in the first place, that's fine...but...a Win would be good stick it into his face*. Toronto: This(or these) game(s), as always is for pride. Toronto is in a home slump...and apparently their antidote are away games...Let's not have Montreal become a healing ground for our arch rivals. The bitter taste of last season still reeks in our mouths...so grab the nearest leaf on a tree(but make sure it's not poison ivy) and wipe your mouth with it...that's a taste we don't want to experience anymore. Buffalo: Another of our division rivals comes to town. Many teams last season had much trouble with Buffalo...but not MTL...let's continue that trend, and keep the Sabres down in the cellar where they belong, so we can catch up with Ottawa.
