KEYS TO THE GAME:
- Outwork, outhustle them: Everytime we play the Leafs, the latter always come out with a superior effort. Every single time. Even when they play the night before. Playing a full 60 minutes is required, 60 minutes. Not 55, not 56, not 59. 60.
- Strike early and often: Relying on special teams. Does that remind you of something? Oh yeah, the 2006-07 Montreal Canadiens. Where did they end up? Out of the playoffs. My point is, we need to figure out a way to score on 5 on 5 situations. You don't do that, chances are that you are going to need a shutout from your goaltender to win. Leafs are big and slow. We are small and fast. Let's use that to our advantage.

Great game thread, I really like the game ticket with both goalies on it!

Anyways hopefully Price can shine in this game, I would love to see a win from the Habs!

We have to control the 5 on 5 and put some pucks behind the net. No more 1 goal games, lets get a blowout!

GO HABS GO!!!!!

Habs should have this game if they play as well as they have been, and for 60 minutes.

60 minutes....easier said than done for the habs <_<

how sad, how true it is... lets not keep relying on our goalie to win us games, if we could get a couple more goals to give us some room to breath, instead or playing these 1 goal games were they all play not to make a mistake. I know its a good thing not to make mistakes but when they have more goals they can play more relaxed. I agree we absolutely they have to play a FULL 60 minutes. I would love to see us forcheck more, and this game is not going to be decieded on which goalie plays better, we can already beat raysoft, but it is going to come down to who can finish their chances when they have them.

Can't stress enough the importance of winning this game. I have yet to see our team show up against Toronto and play a full 60. Here's hoping they do that tomorrow night. GO HABS.

60 minues guys. Thats what you need to play. Not this 50 min of pressure, and 10 min of sitting on your butts. Give Price the goal support and get the W.

And looking at the stats, lock down Sundin...

I for one am getting tired of these lousy laff fans saying they are the best, "sure we'll miss the playoffs but we beat montreal a couple times this year". Let's put an end to those lousy leaf fans and crush them...I guarantee if that happens you won't see any of those stupid flags on anyone's car wednesday morning!

Predictions:

1. We score first, or in the alternative, we are either leading or tied after one period.

2. We let up while trying to "protect" our huge one-goal lead, and Toronto scores easily....perhaps two or three quick ones.

3. We never get our momentum back, and lose in regulation.

4. McCabe puts one in OUR net.

I actually hope I'm wrong....but the Habs would need to show me that the pride of wearing the CH means pulling out all the stops, finishing opponents without letting them back in the game, and especially, beating teams like the Leafs more for the principle than anything else.

I now have two bitter defeats that don't sit well with me.....the last Leaf loss, and of course, that horrible Ottawa fiasco. This is the point where only results matter. The Canadiens have to crush these teams convincingly or my other prediction is we're not going anywhere this season. It's already looking too much like last year.....can't finish, can't score 5-on-5, can't protect a lead, etc.

hopefuly we play a lot better than what we did on the third. It would be great if Montreal comes out flying

taking out the body hitting each leaf thats near the puck. As always stay out of the peanilty box and make

the Leafs take peanilty's confuse them get into at least a 5-3 man advantage and score on that situation.

I would be happy with a 5-2 victory. But as long as we win and Toronto looses that's whats important.

You forgot one more thing: DISABLE Tucker. I'll be content with a concussion.
