This is another must win. We need to finish these last three games of November with wins across the board. Sabres, Leafs, Devils! We need to win every one of them, and get ourselves setup for a solid December. This back and forth win/loss thing isn't going to cut if for much longer. We'll soon find ourselves fighting for 8th again, when I would prefer we spent the year (the entire year) fighting for 4th. Also, please Carboneau, put in Grabovski and stick him with some offensive players!

I want the habs to play the way they did last night except they have to tighten up in their own zone. The last couple weeks theyve been giving the slot very easily. The giveaways havent been as bad as Pednault's been making it out to be. Every team gives giveaways except Ive noticed Hamrlik hasnt been as solid as he was to start the season. I dont know if its Brisebois' influence or if teams are just making adjustments against us.

Thats another thing. I think the Habs have a great system and they play it well, but as the season rolls on good coaches make adjustments...For example, they realize our strength is our defencemen, so the forechecking comes hard now and they play high on them during powerplays. Our forwards are simply not making them pay for the extra attention they give our defencemen. To be consistently successful, we need this to change.

Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!

Extremely important game tonight, we need to finish off this home and home with at least one win or else it will be considered a major let down.

I think we need to score the first goal and then have sustained offense which is something we couldn't get yesterday. The Sabres are too create offensively to play a defensive game I think.

So if the win/loss alternating thing continues, that means we will win tonight. Then lets hope it stops against the Laughs on Tuesday.

As always, GO HABS GO!

Anybody know if Grabs is in? or any line changes for tonights game?

I'm not sure, but RDS is saying that Jocelyn Thibault is in net for Buffalo tonight. He has a 3.90 GAA and a .837 sv% this season and his only win was against the Leafs.

I too would like to see grabs more I love his speed and also would like to win tonight, but have to disagree with us vying for 8th if we keep this up. I f we keep playin like this we are on pace for 101 Pts which should def be 5 if not 4th

It would be really great to get 2 points tonite to give us 29 points and good firm hold on 4th place. We need Ottawa to beat the Flyers tonite because Philli is really scratching at our heels by 1 point so it would be nice to go up 3 points on them tonite. I know some of you wish Philli would win this one so we could sneak up on Ottawa and perhaps grab first place within the next couple weeks. But the last thing we need is the curse of the President's Trophy on our heads so 4th place works just fine for me (stupid freakin division rule). By the way its so sweet looking down on the Laffs (they're currently sitting down in 12th place :D)

ya i just heard about that not long ago. So no matter what , the division leaders are top 3 even if the 4th team has more points at the end of the season than any of those top 3 ?

But it's our curse, we own it. The Habs use to finish in first on a regular basis and win the cup.

So, montreal has 4 wins and 4 losses in their last 8 games? Doesn't feel like it, but damn, that's not good at all.

habs have to string some wins together, starting tonight.
