Guest Greywolf
Gotta be responsible for your stick. You fight for the puck... if being resposible for your stick means that you let the puck go so your opponent can't fall over it, I guess you are right. I'm jumping out of my chair, and we havn't even scored yet. A garbage call on the ref, which made me yell at my TV, but then led to me chanting Tom's name! 2 clears for Tom on the 2nd PK! Guest mossman
Not their worst period. A lot of hustle on the attack caused a few good turnovers. But very, very bad in their own zone. I know I sound like a broken record but game in game out this team is being skated circles around in their zone causing good scoring chances. And we cannot defend against a rush. Yeah, in a 0-0 game it's good to take solace in something but it only takes ONE to put a stat where it really counts. I hope it's a Red Shirt that fires that shot. GO HABS GO! Guest J Haul
Pierre was saying that the refs were talking about Carbonneau and that he needs to keep his composure. I tend to agree with him. A cocky attitude isn't going to get you too far with the leagues officials. They don't like to be shown up either. Guest jennifer_rocket
How are we doing? Sounds like we're turning the puck over in our own zone? Huh, huh!? How's Ryder doing? Any shots on goal?
Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!
Please, when you have Richards, St. Louis and Lecalvlier on a line or any combo of them with another player, they are going to have sustained offense. I thought Habs kept them outside most of the time and then transitioned nicely to offense of their own. The effort was there and it was solid. The crowd was into the game and it was a fast-paced period with just a few choppy parts. NEED TO CAPITALIZE ON THOSE CHANCES! Lift the puck to the upper part of the net and you had 2 goals! Carbonneau is shocked, surprised and mouthing off with every call. It is annoying and completely uncalled for. Note to coach...sometimes the penalties are actually legit penalties. He is quickly getting a reputation for whininess. At least Quinn whined after the game, not during on EVERY call...

Guest mossman
Were alright could be better. Ye were turning the puck over alot and ryder has 0shots on goal Ryder needs to be put back on the top line and left there. Let those three get the chemistry back and let Ryder and Koive work through the slumps. Bouncing him around is doing nobody any good. Neither is putting a defenceman on your #1 line. Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!
WOW Koivu 100% of faceoffs! He is working tonight and I could see it on every shift. I might add that Dandy seems to be working. The line has actually been noticed with a good amount of chances! Ryder, what can i say, even if the shot is sharp, TAKE IT! He is constantly throwing it around the boards and it is cleared. Its not like he doesnt have offensively capable linemates. Lats and Chips can bury any rebound of a quick Ryder shot! I think it's awesome. It's even more great when he takes a stick and starts wacking it on the boards! 'HEY HEY!!!! I'M TALKIN TA YOU!!!! VIEN ICI MON PETI GARS, JE FRAPE TOI AVEC CET CHOSE ICI!!!!'
