where has it said that he isnt motivated?
(ryder)

did your hear his comments after he was scrached for a game.... "yeah, it was cold up there" (quote of memory)

could you be less affected by being scrached?

but, theres also the fact that

if you want ryder to score, koivu has to make the pass,

if you want koivu to make the pass, ryder has to position hmself better,

if you want ryder to be in the right place, koivu has to be in the right place to make the pass,

if you want koivu to be in the right place to make a pass, the team has to be well set up in offensive zone,

if you want a well organised attack, the offesive zone entry must be well done,

if you want a good offensive zone entry, the center ice deffence/offence transition must be done well and quck,

if you want a good transition, you need a good defensive zone exit,

if you want to exit the defensive zone, the defence must be organised and tight,

if you want good defence, the defence men must be alert,

if you want alert defencemen, there has to be good comunication,

if you want good comunication, you need confidence,

if you want confidence, you need the vets to be leaders,

if you want the vets to lead, they need to be confident in themselfs,

if you want the vets to beleive in themselfs, the coach has to beleive in them,

if you want the coach to trust his players, the players have to work hard and eventualy produce,

if you want the player to prduce he has to get the nice pass...

and so is a big circle, so you cant blame ryder for everything. and you cant blame koivu for everything.

the first problem before all other is that every player must give 100% every shift. once thats done than you work every problem one after the other...you cant just expect every thing to work like magic

Ach. I just got home from the mother of all bad meetings after work and so I'm not in any mood for a Habs loss. Given some of the comments, though, I might have to brace myself. I don't know as much about the intricacies of the game as others on the boards but it sounds like it'll be one heck of an uphill battle.

The team is playing unbelievably under-par right now that I don't know what could change it. I was optimistic with young Kostitsyn getting called up, hopefully some eagerness and enthusiasm will get passed around the dressing room.

GO HABS GO!

GO HABS GO!

I need something positive to go to work with tomorrow.

Hey guys,Gainey here. Just saying wut up.I want habs to win too, cause I kinda like my job. *eats chips*enjoy the gamelove, Bobby Gainey

Ola Bob,

Get us a win and I can guarantee I'll enjoy the game. Other than that, no promises.

PS - what kind of chips you eatin'?

S.K-74 at his finest...some pretty goals, especially the last shot from the point-effortless, and he roofed it.

Also one shot was so hard he nearly knocked the bottle off and the puck couldn't have gone higher than 2, 2 1/2 feet.

LETS GO SERGEI!!!
