A big game tonight. We always have trouble with Florida so a win would be fantastic tonight. We have been playing great lately but we really need to focus on shooting on Vokoun from everywhere cause thats the only way we are going to beat him.

I don't like playing Florida they always seem to have the Habs number. Hopefully Price can shut the door when needed and we can get a few bounces for some good oppurtunities against Vokoun. Florida is a worse team than Montreal the Habs need to win these games if they want to make the playoffs. They also need to win this game before they head off on the road so they can get some points they are bound to miss on the road trip and so they can gain some more confidence.

Big game before we head on the road for 6 games. I hope S.Kosty gets his first goal and Price with his first you know what. Should be a low scoring game 2-0 for the habs.......

Here's my prediction and don't hate me for it. Price will let in 3 easy goals in the first and get pulled. Huet will shut the Panthers out the rest of the way while Koivu, Kovalev and Pleks score two goals each for a Habs win thus ending the goaltending controversy about who's number 1.

Can anyone else picture the parade on Ste Catherine

Agree but the way they've played the last 2 games give us hope that they'll do the same tonight. I'm sure the players know how much they've struggled against the Panthers and will be ready for them.

I am really starting to think that Voukon is going to have a bad game. With S. Kostitisyn still in the lineup (I think) it gives the Habs an extra weapon up front that Voukon has not seen from the Habs. WIth him there it gives the Habs two legit top lines. And last game I dont believe that the Kovalev was with Pleks and A. Kostitsyn which makes it a little harder for Voukon. I think Habs win 5-1 with goals by Serge, Chipchura, Koivu, and two by Kovalev on the PP. This game is over in the first period. If they can beat Vokuon they beat the team.

This is gonna be a hard low scoring game like it always is when these two teams meet. Vokoun has been hot has of late hopefully some young guns can cool him down

Like us against Boston, Florida, for no particular reason; they seem to have our number. They are always up for us. I have confidence tonight though. We should be on an exhilarating high from the past two games, and in particular, Saturday's contest. Yuppers guys and gals, we will be ready for those cats. :D Go Habs Go!

habsinsideout.com reported that the lineup would be the same as the last game

Well, that's good news for sure. If it's not broke, it need not be fixed. The past 2 games have been some of the best, I think, so far this year; at least in terms of consistent effort throughout the game. I'm looking forward to a healthy Huet but given Price's performances of late, I'm glad to see him back between the pipes.

I read somewhere earlier today that Florida is the only team the Habs do not have a winning record against. I would love to see that stat starting to be put paid to. They always seem to give us a rough time. The game'll take care of itself if we head out for 60 full minutes, 110%. Giv'er, boys! GIV'ER!

GO HABS GO!

I'm glad that the lineup is the same, there is no need to mix things up when we're winning! It'll be a hard fought game (hopefully the habs can pull this one off--those damn panthrers!) Habs win 3-2
