Guest Manorrd
someone tell me how the goal was scored lol The first line was keeping the puck in Atlanta's end. They couldn't clear the zone because Montreal was pressing. Koivu was working hard in the corners and cycled around to get a shot on net. It rebounded out, but Komi kept it in and got it back down deep. Koivu got hold of the puck and fired at a bad angle just to the left of Lehtonen, and S.Kostitsyn pounced in out of the slot and banged the rebound home. Guest chiapo
Well, I'm driving back home for the holidays so I'll be in Montreal tomorrow night. Please don't throw anything at me when I say that I can't wait to see the game on RDS, I love the commentary in french. Since I've been in D.C. all the games through that NHL package that I pay are broadcast with the commentators of the opposing teams and it bores the heck out of me. When I try to listen to a game on CJAD online the TV and the internet feed don't coincide, there's about a 5-10 second delay. Therefore, I can't wait to hear ET LE BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT, Kovalev avec une passe spectaculaire a Plekanec et le tricolore mene 3 a 0. Ha! You and me both... you and me both! Guest habskw
Yep agreed. The team seems like they want to win tonight And that, boys and girls, was almost fun to watch! I don't care if they didn't score tons of goals (tying it was nice), it's the effort that's great to see. They almost looked a little nasty at times on the boards, determined to come up with the puck. Kudos to the refs as well for letting both teams play an interrupt free period. Amazing what that does to the flow of the game.

Guest Greywolf
Greeting fellow Habs fans.. needed to fix a Christmas crisis.... I see the score is 1-1 after one. So please fill me in. How did the Habs do in the first?
Guest Manorrd
^^ Well, it certainly is nice to see that we're actually outshooting the opposition after one period of play....and I think the score reflects this. Huet had a bit of a butterfly shot float over his glove...but he's been solid enough so far.

Guest Manorrd
Kovalev is playing really well tonight. He's giving that extra bit of effort on most of his plays, and he's almost set up a couple of goals tonight.
