Guest HabSteve
oh man, great job killing that 5 on 3 that could have turned the whole game on NY side if they had scored and all those wasted PP would have haunted us well, tie game after 1, we need to crack Dipietro in the 2nd! Guest js2
What did Komi get a penalty for? Playing hockey.
Guest moe181
Odd how the dangerous hit from bhind gets the same 2 minute penalty as Ryder protecting his teammate. Ah well, hopefully if the habs kill off this next 5on4 we can start the 2nd with some momentum
Guest Flying Lion
Wow! What a period. What a job on the PK. GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO!
Guest otherdemon
Damn, that was a pivotal 5-on-3 kill if there ever was one. Need to solve DiPietro ASAP.
Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!
That was one of the most exciting scoreless periods I have seen in a long, long time. Should have never been scoreless except Di Pietro is saving the Islanders *****! Montreal had some great chances and DP has denied them. That will change in the second though! GO HABS GO! THAT FIRST GOAL IS YOURS!
Guest HabsFan4Lyfe
We need one goal and we win...that isles team stinks more than the makebelieves....1 goal should be enough...
Guest JIMVINNY
yeah and after the hit wasn't komi the one who was hooked There was a spear by comrie after the big hit that the refs conveniently ignored. total bull.

So you didn't hear all those DING DINGS near the end of the period? Those were quality Isles chances. Don't underestimate anyone.
Guest HabsFan4Lyfe
We need to get traffic in front of their goalie during the powerplay, it's too easy for him. So you didn't hear all those DING DINGS near the end of the period? Those were quality Isleschances. Don't underestimate anyone.I did hear those ding dings, i'm not worried aobut that , they can hit the posts all they want, they won't get it in net where it matters. Their offense is sad. We get one and it should be enough.

Guest Greywolf
Love the commentor on RDS.. they are taking about Huet. The question is 'What does Huet have to do to get some credit' the answer play 60 or more games in a season. Yeah that's right. How bout, you don't let in any softies on a regular basis. The team is playing really well and but it's not because Huet is saving the day like he did two years ago. The team is winning because the score more than three goals a game. Huet makes some great saves during the course of a game but he lets in some softies. This game is a perfect example of a goalie saving your bacon. If Huet lets in a softie today facing DiPietro the Habs will loose. Now all the pro Huet fans will give me grief but what the heck. Some of them think Ryder is a bum. It's all opinion anyway. Cheers
