Guest FlHabsFan
It's almost Valentines Day. And its time for The Habs to spread the love to Tampa........FORGET THAT!!!! Its time to ground the bolts and make them beg for their hockey lives!!! Come on guys! Time to break out of the slump youve been in for the last week. Ignore the drama that occurred last night and focus on getting back to your winning ways. Can the habs do it??? I BELIEVE!!!! 2 weeks till the trade deadline! (pics will be uploaded. so pardon the X's)
Guest Asterix9
Here is for a physical game. Hit them with your body, hit them with your sticks, and if all fails, hit them with your... purses! Sorry, couldn't resist!

Hit them with your body, hit them with your sticks, and if all fails, hit them with your... purses! Sorry, couldn't resist! dont worry we'll see plenty of those in this game thread i'm sure I'm all for grounding the bolts but apparently, they'll be 'ganging up' on us. Richards is playing on the same line with Vinny and St-Louis. Defense better get their act together this time (meanling really, carbo, play markov and komisarek together!) . I'm not making any prediction, I'm ALWAYS wrong. I want a win, I will just not predict it.

Guest WindsorHab#10
Do we know for sure who the starting goalie is? I hope O'Byrne takes out his anger on a couple of Tampa's players, just like he did last time we played them. There's something fishy about that police report. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!! Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!
Time to get this week started right. I personally feel that this game is a "must-win" situation. With two sets of back-to-back games, if the team doesn't start off confident, they will have a hard time getting some. After a very weak start in Ottawa, hopefully the Habs will come out flying and put on the pressure. Force Tampa Bay's defense to make quick decisions and more offen than not, it will be a bad one. I want the speed to be in full effect and generate many odd man rushes. That is how we have beated Tampa the last 2 times. PLAY PHYSICAL, PLAY HARD, PLAY AND WIN! GO HABS GO! GO HABS GO! Huet in net, have to give him the feeling of complete confidence if we want him to be ready for the playoff drive and then the playoffs themselves. Guest Onzeee
Roman didnt skate again today and still isnt feeling the best as per Carbonneau, which means the D will be a mess again and he also said he wasnt sure if Ryan would play. loosing 3 of 4 has us now just 7pts on 9th...... here we go

I just hope Guy puts Markov and Komi back together and dresses Dandy instead of Breeze-by. Then our D would look probably like this: Markov - Komisarek Dandenault - Streit Bouillon - Gorges OR if O'Byrne plays I'd put Streit on forward and have O'Byrne paired with Dandy. To me this looks way better than the D we had against the Sens...

Guest j2c
Hi, This is my first post. We really need to win tonight! I hope they play Huet tonight, even though he had a less then great game last game he is the one of the reasons we did so well in January, and he is the starting goalie until stated. I really hope Hamrlik is back soon we really need him on D.

Guest voicemajor2000
Go Habs Go.... I hope the Kovalev and Koivu Lines get going to night. THey bothe played well against Ottawa, but need to break out tonight!
Guest sanman
Did Hammer even make the trip? They must be really paranoid after last year as soon as the Flu or viris is mentioned. If Tampa is loading up a line we just have to shut down that line and take advantage of the other ones. Their goal tending is not great so lets just beat the 2nd and 3rd lines. Heck, Tampa's first line can only realistically play half the game!!! Good night for Koivu-Higgins-?? to light it up....
Guest KORDIC3131
Just bouncing an idea off the wall,so don't crucify me.........What about trying Ryder on the first line with Kovy and Pleks and moving Kosty onto Koivu and Higgins line? I know you don't want to mess with that top line, but something has to be done to get Ryder going and that second line.It may sound a little desperate but if anybody can get Ryder's confidence back it may be to play with Plekanek and Kovalev. Guest CanadianMike
Lots of talk wondering if Carbo will play O'Byrne & Kostop. tonight. I don't think Kostop. did anything wrong and should be in the lineup 100%. O'Byrne did something wrong I guess but very funny and if he sits this one out it will be a small message sent his way. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!! Hope Huet and Higgins have a great game since they were the 2 that went to bail #3 & # 6 out of jail.
