Guest HabsFanStuckInToronto!
Looked like a complete swap to the first period: - Huet looked like a completely different goalie, making some big saves including one where Chris Cuthfert yelled "ROBBERY, ROBBERY" - The play was just slow to develop. Tampa got more shots but equal scoring chances or maybe a slight edge. Both teams looked like they had no idea what their teammate was going to do. Some good stretches but overall, a "nothing special" period. Let's hope for a more energetic Montreal team in the third (Tampa can stay sluggish hehe). Have to hit more, they play so much better when they do. Key PP to start the 3rd period. 1 minute and they have to generate a couple good chances and hopefully GET A GOAL! GO HABS GO! WE NEED THE TWO POINTS!
Guest Habbie10
Every team goes thorugh slumps..ie.. Ottawa and now Detroit is struggling. No need to panic ,this team is getting better every year. having said that ,i'd like to see a few changes made but the nucleus is there for many years to come. As for this season, a playoff berth and maybe even a first round win would be a good start. I trust Bob in that he is building a contender. Others are beginning to take notice and it will happen. I am being patient, like Bob, he is a proven winner.
Guest Oatmeal777
LoL, so you have to score a goal ot be decent, otherwise your invisble?odd Did I say that? No. Watch the game, everyone is terrible. I wish Grabovski was well enough to call up. Not because I think he'll have an incredible impact, but a junior players enthusiasm might help to motivate the rest of the team.
Guest QbGamer
Who cares about Ottawa, Its the teams that are behind us we need to worry about, I know it would be Great to see us come in frst in the east and all of that. But 2nd would be just as good, lets hope the teams that are behind us are slumping, more so then the 1 team ahead of us

Guest habfreak
"The Habs are not getting the goaltending to win them games" (Bob Mackenzie) He's talking about the third star of the league who played 4:45 minutes of bad hockey. Being underrated is one thing..but I think the media does this on purpose...because they know how good Huet really is and what he can do if he's feeling good about himself. I think if someone does happen to get injured and we need too call someone up it will be Chips.. And Grabs was HORRIBLE while he was up hee. Guy never layed a hit, and he fell over if you sneezed in the arena he was playing at

Huet is the man, 1st goal double screened, the second goal i was lieing there, if a defenseman would have been anywhere near the play they could have tapped it away

It's 1st or fourth because the other two division leaders are automatically seeded ahead of us. Ok well does anyone actually still beleive we are going to be BEAT ottawa this year. I think we will need to teach ryder how to hit the net before this ever happens. We have the kovalev line, they are great to watch they score our goals, that being said, Id trade the Kovalev line for the Alfredson line as they are about 4x better then ours. We arent going to be beating the Sens, sorry
