Maybe they're hoping that it will jumpstart lats like it did for andrei Except the only way they are on the same team is if Lats goes to the minors, his brother is likely a career minor leaguer. But thanks for the info habulator.

I've read from Pheonix fans that he's a career minor leaguer is this true?

We have too much depth for him to crack the lineup.

For the second time... I know that he's no longer playing hockey FOR THE TIME BEING while sorting out his personal problems. His career is not over, he's thinking his future and the Calgary Flames (Sutter) told him to take the rest of the year off to think it over, but warned him that the longer he waits, the harder it will be for him to get to the NHL. I was trying to make some light humour out of this whole brotherly story...

tmash
Just because he's 22 doesn't mean he's a career minor leaguer. There have been bigger surprises, but he looks like one of those guys with solid junior stats who can't make the transition. He hasn't even performed very well in the AHL, I wouldn't count on seeing him in the NHL anytime soon.
Guest js2
That'd be crazy if we had the Kostitsyn, Latendresse, Koivu, and Ryder brothers all in the organization.

If we're lucky, him being able to have the chance to play with his brother might spark something in him.
