Olivier Latendresse has 9 points (1-8-9) in 12 games since being called up to Hamilton, his old team mate David Desharnais has 27 points (11-16-27) in 37 games after spending a significant amount of time on the team's third line.

Any chance these guys ever see time in the NHL with any team? Montreal must have seen something in Desharnais to extend his contract.

Actually I doubt it, though I would like to see it happen.

I believe Olivier was quite an offensive talent before he was lost in Phoenixes farm system, and given time to restore his confidence and play in our system he will be productive at every level. Desharnais will make it on desire alone, the talent won't hold him back though.

If Michael Ryder can go from riding the buses and yo-yo-ing between the AHL and the ECHL, to becoming a 30 goalscorer at the NHL level, anything is possible...Whether it will happen or not depends on the work ethic, determination of the players and capitalizing on available opportunities.

I have been very impressed with Latendresse lately. He's not as big as Gui, but I think he takes the body a bit better then younger Lats.

And, sawnsee...we could trade for Mikko Koivu while we're at it...3 sets of brothers would have to be a record for one team.

Now that would REALLY be something  !!!!!!!|

Apart from the Suters this team has something about brothers. The Richards (don't forget Claude too!), The Mahovlichs, The Kostitsyns....
