So, if I'm reading everything right...a win tomorrow night jumps the Habs from 5th to 2nd...right?

I just heard on Sportsnet that Hossa is out with a MCL slight sprain and will be out a week. Good News for us in our chase to the top..
Can you imagine if we gave up Ryder, Grabo, Lappy & a draft pick and he blew out his knee in Game 1....

hopefully senators lose tonight so we can finally become first place tomorow night. Heard Saku and them and everyone was saying that we can't get into a shootout vs these guys and it's true. Hopefully a good defensive game and we dno't take many penalties and we should take this one...on va voir

first in the division which would put us up to 2nd, we are currently 3pts behind jersey for the conference

Kovalev will have a MONSTER game tomorrow...he's been quiet the last few games, and has had decent success against Buffalo (42 Pts/66 Games)...

I'll say 1G/2A.

I hope Huet is in net for Wash. today/tomorrow. Wash will want to see what they got. He will want to prove he is the # 1 goalie there, and that Mon. made a mistake in trading him.

We just gotta win against the Buffs

I know you don't know me and I'm new around here, but, I am hunting for tickets for that game too.

It's my birthday on the 25th so me and a few friends are heading down.

I've found some okay priced tickets, just have to get on the purchasing part of them lol.

I hate these back to back games, in particular these Friday nights against the Sabres. For some strange reason we don't play well against them on those nights. However, with the way that they are playing lately, I have every confidence that the boys will do well this evenig. Solid 'D and everyone being on the same page.

Enjoy the game Keith.

GO HABS GO!!!!

Positive: OTTAWA LOST!Negative: Boston and the Rangers won shrinking the lead to 3 points. Rangers have played one more game, the Bruins one less game than us.Meaning: If we want to guarantee we stay at our spot in the standings through the weekend, we have to win tomorrow!Friday is our chance to beat Buffalo and the Saturday is going to be a very difficult game.Let's beat Buffalo! Price is going to be great!GO HABS GO!
My goal for the Habs this year is to make the playoffs. I don't care where they finish in the conference as long as they get in. With 18 games to go, the team must treat each one as a playoff game which means going out, playing smart defense and giving a solid 60 minute effort. The trade deadline has come and gone so there are no more distractions and no more excuses. Make it to the big dance and anything after that will be icing on the cake. I'm looking forward to a healthy competition between Price & Halak. Should be an exciting finish.
Im predicting, Huet gets a shut out against the devils,Price gets a shut out against Buffalo,What a great night that woud be
Whatever you do, NEVER use the "S" word.

I understand that, however, we don't play well against the Sabres on Friday nights for some strange reason. I hope Carbo gets them well motivated for tonight.

I don't believe that BG made a mistake in trading Huet. Getting only a 2009 2nd round pick - well, that was too little, IMO. The way I see it is - Huet would of never of gotten us past the first round. Carbo would be going back 'n forth in using the two anyways. We were not predicted to make the play-offs (by all those so called experts) let alone sitting where we are right now. Let's give these kids that experience, most notably Price - then Bob can go out in the summer and get that 'elite' player. After all, we were projected, by Bob himself no less, that '08 - '09 is the year where this push will then become a shove.

Speak for yourself...I think it was 100% the right call. It is clear that this is Price's team going forward, so handing him the reins is a vote of confidence for him and also, I beleive he has outplayed Huet recently anyway. At this stage, Price learns nothing sitting on the bench
