Good Lord, JL.

I've been a member of this forum in good standing for years.

How has many months and many posts and a handful of "thank-yous" from the moderators of this site relegated me to that of a troll....i.e. someone who crashes a site for the sole purpose of poisoning the subject material of the forum?

I have not overstepped any boundaries in my recent posts. What's up with that!?!

Trolling is posting with the sole purpose of antagonizing, getting a negative reaction from other members, mostly without substance. Stating that Price is a #2 goalie knowing that most don't feel that way falls into the trolling category. It doesn't speak for previous experience, but for that post.

he used MATHIEU DANDENAULT MORE THAN RYDER...WOW IM INSULTED

probably just because of dandenault's speed and defensive abiltiies, while not much, they're better than ryders. Though i liked ryder's hits.

He gives up the puck too easily, can't score on open nets (thank God he did tonight), takes stupid penalties... He's nowhere near his top skill level right now. At the beginning of the season though it was a different story.

your text reminds me of a popsicle. i like popsicles :)

OK thanks.. Yes the truth inevitably prevails. I just get frustrated quickly when it comes to Price bashing.

Speaking for myself, I was not "bashing" Price.

Please get your finger off the trigger.

I'm HAPPY we won.

*repeat*

I'm HAPPY we won.

I'm just saying that Carey didn't steal the game for us.....but I also said he was the well deserved first star.

We played a mediocre game. Who can really doubt that?

I'm happy for the 2 points.

...and calling me a drunk...a troll??

Maybe I should just log off for the night.

Thanks a lot, everyone.

...go habs go

Calling Carey a #2 is trolling, when you are visiting a Habs forum in a thread where he was the 1st star of a win that puts us in 1st in the conference. You're only as recent as your last post.

Everyone watches all the mistakes now like a hawk. It wasn't quite that bad some years ago. Players / Coaches just got over quickly and moved on. Oh and as far as Carbo goes, he made his share of mistakes when he played. Guess he doesn't remember that.

I wonder if ex-Hab Kilger ever shoed up to play? Something must be really screwed up at home. He took 1 LOA and wanted a second, but they said no.

REFs play to big a part in the game now, they got to stop calling the no Ps a P and turning a blind eye to the real Ps. It doesn't make any sense and Its just awful.

boy, second controversy of the night...

Manorrd, I don't think anybody considers you a troll. but you do occasionally seem to post with the intention of antagonizing other members. If that's not the case, I apologize, but apparently I'm not the only one with this impression.

I have no problem with that. As long as Halak gets a start within the next two games, I think that'll be fair for him.

We're going to get destroyed by the Ducks anyway, so...

Wow, what is up with the pessimism? Jose Theodore just shutout the Ducks tonight, I'm sure we can put up a fight. First in the East and the glass is still half-empty. The Habs basically played for about 15 plays tonight and won by 2. The best teams will figure out a way to win, even if they play poorly and the Habs did just that tonight.

Yeah, i definitely agree. Also, i think we should always use Carey in the tougher situations (anaheim is one) to get him prepared for the playoffs. Just my 2 cents

On a side note: Who's in nets for LA tonight?

you said he played "soft". WTH? and I responded w/ 2 goals on 40 shots. Just sick of armchair QB's on Price. the guy is our future and any criticism towards him will not be tolerated anymore. I had to deal with all the Huet lovers in here, but now that huet is thankfully gone, we can enjoy years of winning again.

yes huet is gone but lets not forget what he did for us in his time here, for one thing we wouldnt have been in the playoffs since 2004 if not for huet

I've got a bad feeling about Anaheim too. Habs are a high flying Eastern team, but the Western sluggers a la Don Cherry shinannigans throws our game off when they turn it bush league.. And that game will be bush league.

Thumbs down to the Western conference!!!! no wonder all the talent is in the Eats - where they can shine and play true hockey.

Alright then, apology accepted. Go habs go.

I have no need to apologize.

I never called anyone "a drunk."

I never called anyone "a troll."

We need to show the world that we're more than a 1 line team with a #2 goalie.

That day will come.

...I can't believe that I was labeled "a drunk" by a jr. member and "a troll" by a moderator.......

I was never a fan of Huet, But........ He was a an honourable person and player, and I think he truly did love the habs. Let's leave it at that.

btw...MICHEAL RYDER WAS NOT SEEN ON THE ICE AFTER THE MISTAKE HE MADE IN the beginning of the third period ( it lead to the goal.......the whole night everyone was making mistakes and Carbo can't give Micheal another chance...sheesh!!!

ryder deserved to be benched. he was passing up shooting opportunity's and making bad decisions

How is that pessimism? It's realism. And you're comparing the Yotes and Ducks game style??? If we play 15 minutes Sunday night...oooo boy...

The Avs and the Habs play 2 entirely different styles of game. We saw what happened to us on Monday. The Ducks are going to be 10x worse, AND they've been shutout for the past 2 games(including tonight)...they're going to take all their anger out on us.

We're going to die. :D

I have been a member longer than you, and also had 500+ posts erased during some cleaning up period over a year ago. I said "drunk" because you were getting "another" Rum and coke.. I figured only alcohol could declare Price a #2.

Nevertheless apology is accepted... Go habs go.

So was Latendresse and he's been doing this for the past 20 games it seems.
