Montreal @ Phoenix | Mar. 6 2008 | Final: 4-2 Habs

On a night were some people were calling for both Lappy & Smoke to go to the A...leave it to minotaur to find positive stats for both...

Bravo!

:D And you know it was extra hard because I'm not a Smoke fan by a long shot! :)

It was a rough night for Lapierre, but I don't see how the first double-minor was his fault. It was a freak play where his stick came up as he was being pitched over. He couldn't do a thing about it. The ensuing goal was a deflection which again, no one could do anything to stop. Those things happen.

Smolinski, well ... he did chip in with an assist, and he was great in the faceoff circle. I'll just stop there.

How is that pessimism? It's realism. And you're comparing the Yotes and Ducks game style??? If we play 15 minutes Sunday night...oooo boy...

The Avs and the Habs play 2 entirely different styles of game. We saw what happened to us on Monday. The Ducks are going to be 10x worse, AND they've been shutout for the past 2 games(including tonight)...they're going to take all their anger out on us.

We're going to die. :D

It's one thing to say we're gonna have a tough game Sunday, but to say we're gonna get destroyed and killed by the Ducks? Yeah that's pessimism. By the way, I didn't compare the style of the Coyotes and Ducks at all, and I obviously don't think the Habs can beat the Ducks playing the way they did tonight. I was simply saying the best teams figure out a way to win, and judging by the standings, the Coyotes aren't one of them. The Ducks on the other hand, are one of the best teams. Anyways, just try to be a bit more positive ;).

no we can't. :lol::)>

Their hability to win in the thrid is amazing though isn't it?

It is amazing. But anyway, getting fraustrated in the 1st half of a game is not what we Habs want.
