Guest JIMVINNY
key words...WOULD HAVE.....therfore 9.... RED FISHER is suppose to have been covering the Habs for 50th season in 04 ...but since the lockout happened his 50 th season was the following one...just using that of many examples.... THEREFORE 9.... BURN!!! Hey if you want to be picky, you're totally wrong. Saku may have been the captain for only 9 SEASONS, but just because there's no hockey, a YEAR still goes by, a year in which Koivu retains his title of captain. Hence, 10 years. now who gets burned? Guest Anetéchrist
Wow. Florida currently leads 3 to 1 over Pittsburgh. And Toronto 4 to 1 over Boston. Woo ooo Let's hope our boys make their part.

ColRouleBleu
I really hope ColRouleBleu doesn't mind, but this was posted in the Markov thread and I thought it should be shared. Now everyone can enjoy the game as much as I am going to. Every time I see a Canadien moving with speed during the game, I'm going to have "Meep meep!" running through my head. I don't know whether to say thank you sincerely or sarcastically, but I'm sure to enjoy the game more. Let's make it a win! Just for the record, I dont mind. Don't be so sure yet When your captain doesn't play, there are either 3 assistants or another player replaces the C until the captain is back. Since Koivu (and everyone else) never played on that season, there couldn't have been a captain. Hence, Koivu was not captain that year..... now who gets burned? Guest Anetéchrist
T.O is leading Boston 5-1... that inspires me... When fall come, leafs fall, and upon the arrival of winter, leafs takes the flight I say good for us. We never see enough of our pursuers lose. Guest vegasrick
Hello, all. Hey, all the right teams are winning in the other games around the league, so we have a GOLDEN opportunity to pick up the lost ground from last game. And Ottawa is playing the Sharks later.....they'll be shark bait. I predict they will be beaten much worse than we were. But PHX is no pushover. They are playing for their playoff lives, and are playing well lately. They just beat Dallas last night.....but I hope they got beat up in the process! In any event, the Habs are one of the better "bounce back" teams this season, and I expect that trend to continue tonight. Back on the winning track, take first place in the conference again.....then run away with it!

That's ridiculous. that only applies if they PLAY while the captain wasn't present. For your theory to be correct, they would have had to re-assign the captaincy, or at the very least name three assistants, which clearly didn't happen. nice try.
