Guest Sc's#1SabresFan
Hey Habs fans ! I'm happy your team is having such a good year. I always like to see a good Habs team ( Except when they play the Sabres ) Just wanted to say if the Sabres don't make the post season, I'm definitely rooting for Montreal. I'm tired of these non-hockey markets winning the Cup. Time for Montreal to get back into the winners circle ! Go Habs ! ( Not if they vs the Sabres in the post season though ) - Sc

Guest moe181
Big game for us tomorrow, just cause we need to retake that top spot in the east after pitts won tonight. After that it'll be the leafs, and well with their season officially over tonight, do you think they'll come out strong, just to bring us down? or will they tank so that they can get a better pick? Well I guess for now we should focus on the Sabres game, GO HABS GO!

Guest fansince1975
And we get to play the more tired Sabres. They might even be more mentally tired since they only got 2 out of 4 points against the Sens. Sabres are still 5 points out of the playoffs with few games remaining. I think that back to back nights is one of the big reasons Montreal is playing so well this season. Last year Montreal was terrible in back to back nights. Key. Win the 1st game. They then take on the Laffs. Play hard for 60 minutes to beat the Sabres. Play hard for 1st period on Saturday and the Laffs will mail in the rest of the game / season. They already ordered new golf clubs. Let's get 4 out of 4 points this weekend.

Guest CanadianMike
Can you say FINALLYYYYYYYYYYYY a Habs game. I am sporting my new Kostitsyn 74 46 shirt I had made and I am ready to go. Let's take over #1 spot (where we belong!)
Guest habsgal
A bit off topic but I need someone to help me with some 'rubbing it in'. Would someone please post the standings as they are today? A bold highlight would be reallll nice of the Leafs and where they stand today. It's payback time for some Leaf fans from last year. Thanks: We will be a well rested team this evening. So hopefully the boys will come out full throttle. But I have to admit, I REALLY am not fussy when the team makes these Friday night trips to Buffalo. But we have had somewhat of a success in the back to back games this season compared to last year. In any event, we are well rested playing a team that were in a battle last night. GO HABS GO!

Guest WindsorHab#10
The nice thing about clinching Monday night is that the Habs now control their destiny as far as winning the division or taking the conference. It's still too early to tell where teams will finish and what the match-ups will be for the first round. Looking at Boston's schedule and Washington's, you'd have to give the nod to the Caps as they have the easiest competition down the stretch. We could face any team in the first round. Who would Montreal prefer to meet in the first round?. Should the Habs go all out and win the last 5 games, thus securing home ice advantage? Do we give it our all and risk injuries before the playoffs? Does it matter to us who we face first?

Guest cassandra
If you are coming to the game tonight, check the 'Out of Town' thread, some people mentioned wanting to get a group of Montreal fans together after the game so we picked a spot to meet up.
