Guest Habsgirl3823
Just got home from the game in Buffalo!!!!!!! It was the most amazing experience of my LIFE! My first Habs game... wow. I was so sad when we were down 3-1, but I turned to the Habs fans next to me, whom I had never met before in my life, and I said, "It's okay, guys, we just have to BELIEVE!" And look what happened. I just remember celebrating soooo much after Higgins scored that OT goal. There was a lot of hugging, and a lot of "OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE." We walked through HSBC Arena chanting OLE until we were outside... and we just kept chanting. What an amazing night.
Guest d80jcrant
I was watching the game at home. My wife was up stairs on the PC. I watched it to the end. When Habs made it 3-2 I was yelling and screaming. Imagine what noise I made alone in the house when we tied it....I just about lost it when we won.Awesome, Awesome game.Go Habs Go

Guest fansince1975
The 3rd goal by Pleks. Great position. Great one handed goal. And the BEST was after he scored he used his other arm to throw Derek Roy to the ice. The Sabres still might make the playoffs as they have two games with Boston. However, it was great that Montreal was able to win the game. First in the East.
Guest Greek Hab
Hey! We got the NHL.com Frozen Moment in last night's game. Look at all the upset faces. http://www.nhl.com/nhl/app?service=page&am...ge=FrozenMoment
Guest 4beforeorr
Huet fans? i'm with you, i've been keeping an eye on the Caps for a couple week's. I would be very nervous if we had to play Huet and the Caps. Beating the Habs would help the bad taste left in his mouth i'm sure.

First in the East again! getting to be a habit! that Sabres game, sure pulled out the rabbit! with luck like that, our Habs become sure bets, and, for the record, we have no regrets! Guest Stanley25
Weird game to say the least. Anyway, I'll take the 2 points any day although we'll have to be sharper against TO to bag points and get away from Ottawa for good on the division title race. Every time I saw ***** calls against us while nothing against them when it was deserving of a call, I was yelling in front of my TV in disbelief and even chanted "Murderers, murderers!" (usually, you chant that against the other team) to express my anger towards the refs and the Sabres at the same time, especially the refs. I dunno if that was a behind-the-scenes ploy by the NHL to "create" thrill for the final race for 8th, but it was really poor one-sided display which reminds me a lot of the poor refereeing at the women's final game in the 2002 Olympics (back then, I was about to throw everything on that *censored* if our girls lost that game). I remember that women's Olympic gold medal game. The american ref they had in that game called the most obviously biased game against the Canadian women that I have ever seen in 40 years of watching hockey. Seems there is no limit to the cheating, doping, etc. they'll employ to avoid being the losers. This makes them look like even bigger losers, but the Canadian women won despite being short-handed for the whole game, showing the american team, and everyone watching around the world the difference between winners and losers. As for the NHL games including last nites game, there is a perception of referees are attempting to influence the outcome of the games. I think the league wants to figure out over the summer how to fairly officiate hockey, because the way it's done now belittles the game. The league will not make hockey fans out of folks in Florida, Nashville, Arizona, etc, by blatantly tipping games in their favour.
Guest HabsMan11
although it was the sabres, and they played like a top team last night, we still managed to FIND A WAY TO WIN. and thts all tht matters, especially going into the playoffs, and it gives me alot of confidence as a fan and hopefully it gives confidence to the players, tht no matter what we can come back, regardless of the score- the past couple of times (NJ and NYR) were not just luck, its cuz we earned them and tht is a good sign going into the playoffs- this team never gives in, so props guys, keep it going! 16 for 25, All for One! Guest GoHabsGo_CanucksAreChoking
Oh, the Sabres fans are mad now. They called us a wimpy team They are so mad we're better than them [For at least the last 5 minutes in THIS game, usually we play better ] They're jealous of Kovalev's abilities. Edit: Ottawa is getting owned by the BOOINS?! 3-
Guest Innis_Mor
I was at the game. I'll just make a few observations from the "live" perspective; the game itself I am sure has been already been discussed to death here. HSBC is a great place to watch a game: great arena and line sights, plenty of parking. easy to get back across the border, (relatively) inexpensive tickets, good fans, really good ushers the ushers -- fantastic; for the warm-up they even allowed Habs fans not sitting in sections 105-106 (at the Habs come-out/bench area) in to watch and cheer their team; same goes for the Sabres fans with seats in that area -- they put up with us blocking their own sitting site lines for watching either team warm-up. My hats off to both groups. They didn't have to do that. not an empty seat in the place (unlike Leafs game tonight with its empty platinums) Saku: a rock!! man, this guy wants this team to win! You could tell his foot really hurt when he took the puck, but he went off sat down, never missed a shift Love the way you can see plays develop live, and from up high; I could see Higgy's breakaway developing well before it happened. On TV, you just pick it up at the last second (at the same time as the Sabres defense LOL!!) Great Habs crowd; not too raucous, spread out all over, but pockets of obviously bus groups. Boy, some die-hard Sabres fans were dejected (and full of foul language about their team/players) when the Habs came back from 3-1!! Fun for us Habs fans, not so much for the Sabres fans. Not sure why some Sabres fans continue to wear their Sabres Briere jersey I'd get a new name and number sewn on if I were them. Lots of Hab fan complements on my new Grabovski-54 Habs jersey. I only saw one other one all night (yes, it was the one Grabs was wearing )
