Reported line changes:

Sergei au centre

La perte de Koivu force donc Carbonneau a remanié ses trios. En l'absence du numéro 11, c'est Sergei Kostitsyn qui évoluera au centre. Ses conpagnons de trio seront Chris Higgins et Michael Ryder.

http://www.rds.ca/canadien/chroniques/249007.html

Basically what it says is that Sergei will center the line composed of Higgins and Ryder.

Practice lines today Grabovski was centering Latendresse and Lapierre according to habsinsideout.com

Given the way that the Sens have looked lately, you almost feel bad for them. Caught the low-lights of the Boston game, and they look the way you would think Toronto would feel.

I'm really worried about our injuries situation.I haven't heard anything ,but didn't Boullion also go off limping after taking a shot in the ankle area last game?Maybe it turned out to be nothing serious to be concerned with and that's why there hasnt been any talk about it?

Anyway,Iam really feeling like I have a black cloud over my head or something. To see our team play such great hockey and attain such lofty heights going into the playoffs only to finally get hit with a string of nasty injuries ;wow that's hard to swallow! It feels like I should already be saying "I wonder what they could have accomplished if they had been able to stay free of injuries".Damn!! :(

Lets put this game in perspective, we don't need 1st in the East just in the division. We are 1 gained point or 1 lossed point away from that.

That being said the team needs to come out with a better effort then Saturday. The one achievement they have not made this season is winning through significant injuries. It's time to overcome that hurdle and become confident that they can win without Koivu.

Streit is in, Boullion is out. That's a plus. Now it's just up to the rest of the team to step up and plug the hole where Koivu was.

Suck it up boys and go make a statement in Otttawa that we deserve 1st in the Division.

GO HABS GO.

And the Sens are really feeling the pressure. They are even at a (low) risk of missing out on play-offs altogether!! We'll see how they respond tonight. It can be difficult when you are squeezing your stick so tight.Even Spezza did not put on his goofy grin in a media session yesterday. First time I've ever seen him like that.

Calm down. One broken bone doesn't mean everyone has a broken bone.

Habs record following a loss this season: 24-9-4 or some such. Pretty good!! Odds are a win tonight then!! (Time for Sens to go three games again without scoring a goal!! LOL)

Hate to say it but I wouldn't care if we lose this one. All we need is 1 point in the next 3 games (or a Sens loss), 2 of which are against teams that are out of it.

If Ottawa wins its less likely that we'd have to face them in the first round.

No injuries for the habs is what i'm cheering for.

I would care.

cause if we lose.

then all we need is one point in 2 games, right?

then if we lose that,

then all we need is one point in the last game, right?

if we lose that.

you get the picture. better to get this off everyone and just get the points tonight. they can still do well, they just gotta mesh without Koivu for a bit.

You're forgetting Senators have to win all 3 of their games AS WELL. Ain't gonna happen, never mind the Habs losing 3 straight in regulation, the last two, at home against teams on the cusp of golf season!! :D

Yeah, let's help the Sens out here; give 'em a leg up -- Lord knows they it!! How about a goaltender? Anyone we can loan them for a couple of games?:D

I personally don't care if the HABS don't take 1st in the East, but I do care about taking 1st in the division. One point in the next 3 games will do it. One point, which we should have at least gotten against the Leafs. The Sens are pissed and will come out hard tonight. We had them at 7-1 last game but everyone remembers the comeback they had in the third. And that was with all of our guys in the line up. So now our young guys must set up defensively which is tough to do against the Sens and especially their top line. I am trying to stay positive, but I am worried about tonights game. I know we are in the playoffs this year, but think back to last year when we needed one win in the last 3 to secure a playoff spot. It didn't happen. That's why I want the HABS to clinch the division tonight and not rely on doing it in the last game of the season. This team is too good to drop anywhere below 2nd in the conference. The Sens don't deserve it because of their holier than thou attitude, so lets get it done tonight. We have to prove that we will be the toughest team to beat in the East come playoff time. So all HABS fans--lets collectively send our positive energy to the boys tonight and get at least a point tonight (2 would be even better!) GO HABS GO!!

I think it will be a big challenge for the Habs, but one they are capable of winning. It will be a good test for the team, if they can win this game with the injuries it will build more confidence. And that's a good thing to have going into the playoffs. I think the keys will be a solid performance by Price, Higgins and Ryder burying the pin point passes they will be getting from Sergi and a couple more highlight goals by Kovy would be nice.

GO HABS GO
