Guest Innis_Mor
Screw this im with Boston. As I read Twidi's post, I couldn't sense where the bigotry, nor the ranting, nor the poor grammar were coming from. Then, I saw this at the end.
Guest hablover
i've had mixed emotions all day... "we are in trouble" "we'll be fine" "who am i kidding, they got all the momentum, we are doomed" "they will think they have it and whammo...ours" "they've owned us all series long" "all it takes is one 60 minute game, koivu will get the troops riled up" "oh boy are we doomed" "i have a good feeling about this" "I'm scared, this is going to be tight!" Thats my mind over the day.
Guest Chrisfrom123
They need Greg Stewart in the lineup, he is an enforcer. Him and Lucic fight, Stewart wins, Momentum goes to habs. game over.
Guest TexasCanadien
I am hoping that tomorrow is not the last game I watch of the Montreal Canadiens this season. I want this team to at least move on to the second round and then we can deal with what happens there. I really wish Carbo has something to motivate this team, wake them up and show them how they were so successful this season. GO HABS GO!!!! Dandenault has to sit. He has wasted space on the ice for 6 games now. Ryder at least has the potential to pass and score. Breezer has to sit. Yes, he scored a goal and yes he is letting Boston's forwards skate right past him. Streit is not a forward. He has to play defense. The strategy of playing two defensemen as forwards failed Montreal during the regular season. I dont see how that has changed in the least bit. Carbo needs to rely on speed. Speed got us to the top. Our speed and passing is sitting in the press box watching slow footed skaters like Dandenault and Breezer exercising futility. Veterans didnt get us here. Breezer spent most of the season in the press box. So did Dandenault. Why is Carbo relying on them NOW to win? If those two are in the lineup Monday, look for a repeat of Saturday. I have a feeling whether it's another tight game or not the habs are going to win Monday night. No need to worry this one is ours.If it goes into OT I might have to turn the channel everytime Boston gets a chance .I did this in 1993 and it worked. Easier said than done. I'm willing to bet the Boston coaching staff have sent strict orders to Milan Lucic NOT to fight in the next game. He's been one of their best all series, and they're not going to take him out of the game unless they bring out someone more important with him. Lucic has been calling on Komiserik all series, Don Cherry has been bringing this up all series, since he loves meatheads with no brains. The problem with Stewart is, what does he do after the fight? The problem with Stewart is, what does he do after the fight? Exactly. If Lucic fights, it will be to take Komisarek out of the game. He's not going to fight a fourth-liner who'd probably play less than 10 minutes.

If this team needs someone to win a fight to feel motivated, then they are in more trouble than I thought. They are in game 7 of a series they were winning 3-1, on the verge of losing to the lowest seeded team in the conference. If that doesn't give them reason to win and "momentum" if you will, I don't know what can.
Guest Hoyle00cdn
I have this gut feeling Bergeron will be cleared to play. In which case we need to put him through the boards early. Congratulations on overcoming a severe injury and I wish him the best, but this if the playoffs and no one gets mercy.

Congratulations on overcoming a severe injury and I wish him the best, but this if the playoffs and no one gets mercy. To be horrifically honest, I Want Bergeron in. He will be nothing but a liability in his first game back after missing what.. 6 month? To begin with, he isn't a hard nosed player and he will play even less so after such a horrific injury. His play, if inserted at 2nd or 3rd center would take time away from Savard and Kriecji... so.. please, more power to him and let him return. Teh more he is on the ice, the less people who have been eating us alive will be. Not to mention, by the end of the game, regardless of how much conditioning he has done, he will be bruised and tired meaning that they will have a short bench. If this game goes into OT he will be completely out of gas... leaning us into a position of strength (assuming all of our players are contributing... ) Lastly, I truly believe we can win this game. The bruins are simply overachieving. Sobotka is not a goal scorer.. he's scored twice in the last two games... i dont see him making that 3 for 3. Same with Kessel, good but we have several Selke winners in the management team i hope someone can come up with a plan to shut him down after three games of tearing us up. Lastly, Sturm has been doing great lately, with two goals in two games. What it comes down to is: The bruins have seen Great production from players who are classically role players (Ference/Sobotka/Sturm etc.) I simply dont see it continuing three times in a row. Things will change into our favor, They have momentum, we have the better team.

I've not felt good about the performances lately, and lots of mixed thought for tomorrow... C'mon boys, let's go and put a solid game in!

From what I have seen in this series I really do not know if the Montreal players are willing to match the guts and determination of Boston. That will be the deciding factor in my opinion. Guest Habby67
You want motivation? Stick that Stewart kid on a regular line, 3rd or 4th, dont matter to me. That kid showed me a lot more determination then most of our veterans lately...............
Guest JL
Correct, and a fee players need some rest, some "juice" (legal stuff only . Brise, Hamr, Komi -- they looked "tanked" last night. I wouldn't be surprised to see OB Monday, even if just for the one game, to give Brise some more rest time. With the way Streit has been playing, I doubt that Brisebois will be sat, considering he's leading the team in points in the playoffs...

I agree, I don't see Breezer sitting and besides, no reason for him to sit, he's been solid.

Guest fansince1975
We have to win. There were some very good things from the game 6 with the return of Koivu. The fans should be the 7th man for Montreal.

Personally, I would never... But maybe some people would... I mean... We were up 3-1 against a team we creamed in the regular season... I would hope not. Not the last game for 2007-2008. I think some would, but I hope the majority would drown the boos out easily. I was pretty happy they applauded for the US anthem too. Although the media did a real good job getting everyone to think the Habs were, without question, Cup-bound.
Guest RockMtl
Anyone who would BOO the Habs - IF - in the event the worse happens tonight - would be, in my opinion - IGNORANT!! These people would have no concept of SPORTS and probably live their lives in a DREAM world. Look! - I may not be a happy camper right now myself, but I equate that to, for example - my son, that would do something bad. Of course I would be upset, but I still love him! No matter what the outcome tonight - I am still proud of our team and they deserve a standing 'O' not only a minute before the end of the game but 2! Let's not forget that recent history saw Boston up 3-1 on us and we came back to win the series. Not as if this has never happened.
