Guest GoHabs-or-GoHome
Anyone who would BOO the Habs - IF - in the event the worse happens tonight - would be, in my opinion - IGNORANT!! These people would have no concept of SPORTS and probably live their lives in a DREAM world. Look! - I may not be a happy camper right now myself, but I equate that to, for example - my son, that would do something bad. Of course I would be upset, but I still love him! No matter what the outcome tonight - I am still proud of our team and they deserve a standing 'O' not only a minute before the end of the game but 2! Let's not forget that recent history saw Boston up 3-1 on us and we came back to win the series. Not as if this has never happened. Depending on the outcome, if we lose by more than one goal and were clearly outplayed AGAIN. Then heck yes I would boo and so will the Bell Centre, you just watch. This is the NHL and not some minor leaguers; this is the greatest franchise in the history of the NHL and all of sports. This city demands not a 'good run' or 'good try' but demands to win and win and win. Especially considering this team was up 3-1 and has blown that lead and now is facing a game 7, that if we lose so help me god, this great season that saw us finish in 1st place was a complete and utter waste. There is no good excuse for us to be knocked out of round 1. I would not boo if this team was knocked out in later rounds, but this team is much better than this. As such if they do lose this game and were clearly outplayed and Boston proves to be the hungrier team then yes Boos will come and in my opinion should come. Guest HabsWinCup2007
I am still in pain from the last loss... Our young guys are really scared.... You see Carbo's face expression the other night after the B's got that 4th goal.... It was like he sh*t his soul out..... I knew then that we lost.... I hope we win tonight...... and that the hockey gods from the forum better have already made their way over to the bell center..... And fans going to the game...... DON'T BOO THEM IF WE LOSS..... Plus I've noticed our 7th player hasn't been playing all that great the last 4 games... If your going to the game, you better be standing the whole game GO HABS GO
Guest Brando
... I mean... We were up 3-1 against a team we creamed in the regular season... The B's are far removed from the team they were against us in the regular season. If you take away the 8 games between us and Boston, their record against everybody else is better than the Habs. A simple split of games, and we would both be middle of the pack in the East. It's not like they're a bunch of bums. They have figured us out, and unless we can get the Mojo back, they have the steam, and will make it very tough for the Habs tonight. Anyone who boos the team after the amazing season they have had, when the experts predicted they would be scratching it out to even make the playoffs, is ungrateful and short-sighted - what a great ride, and what an opportunity for the club to build some history with an incredible young core. GO HABS GO!
Guest Habcup
Not sure what would make the players better next year if they lose tonight: Standing Ovation: Making them feel appreciated. Booing: Giving them a kick in the butt that will hurt until next season
Kindred
Personally, I would never... But maybe some people would... I mean... We were up 3-1 against a team we creamed in the regular season... Carolina was up 3-1 on the Oilers before the Oilers stormed back and forced a game 7. It does happen. Hopefully though the Bruisn, like the Oilers come back stops at game

Guest Chelly86
Let me clarify this by saying that I am the biggest Canadien's fan there is and I live in Boston. I told everyone that I did NOT want Montreal to play the Bruins in the first round of the playoffs. I just had a feeling that somehow Boston was going to be trouble for the Canadiens. I didn't think Boston was that great of a team but the one thing that that they had going for them was their coach, Julien. He knows how to get the most out of his players at the most crucial times. Well, here we are in a game 7 that we should not be in and it's the Bruins that have all the momentum. This is exactly what happened in 2004 when Julien was caching Montreal. We had no business winning that series, yet Julien somehow found a way to get his players to reach down deep and give their all. That is what is missing with this current Habs lineup. Especially in the last 2 games it is pathetic how many times a Canadien is ahead of a Bruin going into the corner for a puck but when he sees the Bruin he slows up and lets the Bruin go by him and get to the puck first!! Montreal has got to take a lesson from their captain. Did you see how Koivu was like a man possesed after Boston took the lead? He crunched the Bruin defender and allowed Kotstytsen to make the perfect pass to Higgins for the tying goal. That's what we need. EVERYBODY has got to commit to the body and not be afraid of getting hit. If they don't it's going to be a long summer in Montreal. Oh, and one other thing. For those of you who think that even if Montreal loses tonight it will be OK because they had such a great season, try telling that to the New England Patriots! That team and their fans are still not over that Superbowl loss and I don't think they ever will be. Good luck Habs. You are going to need it. Guest habsfan321
Tomorrow on the homepage of Canadiens.com: Either "12 for 25" or "3 for Golf"? Shouldn't that be enough motivation for the players?

Guest old whaler fan..go habs
This was for all the fans who said it was over, who didn't want to cheer in the first period, who wanted carbo's head on a plate, and who wanted Halak in net. I was nervous but had faith the habs would do what was needed. All I said that had to be done was to play with their speed ( their greatest asset) and to play with the confidence they should have because in talent they outweigh the booins. PRICE- that game says it all, for 20 years old . He is amazing, calm, cool and confident. He is a rare find and I can think of no other team he could play for KOIVU- question his leadership , his heart....did anyone see hime play the body on Chara ( who was useless by the way laugh.gif ) KOVALEV- played with his heart again, no lazy plays tonight CARBO- made the changes that were needed, and kept the desire for the 3rd period KOMISAREK- may be my favorite hab...plays 110% every game BRUINS FANS- who beat up hab fans in game 4, who verbally attacked myself and my family......GO F*** YOURSELF GO HABS GO......OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE OLE
