Guest Me_Habs_Fan
Greek Hab ... I don't know where you find them, but they're nice. I like the gal in the Habs Jersey. A bunch of them behind the Boston bench is a good idea Innis_Mor - "OK. I'll get my wife in my Grabovski jersey and take a pic to send GreekHab to post; that'll get him back on track!" -- A man with plan. Boston will be mad about the last game and they'll be out for revenge tonight. Carbo should shake up the lines a little. They've figured out how to shutdown our power play and slow us down. Guest Dintrox12
Just over 5 hours to puck drop... Sounds like a lot of fans are heading down to Bean town for the game. http://www.canada.com/montrealgazette/news...6ac4798a8&k I imagine Habs fans from all over New England will support our team. Lets rock the roof off the TD banknorth Garden tonight like we did the last game we were there!!!

They've figured out how to shutdown our power play and slow us down. they'll either come out hitting and firing or they will be sapped of all momentum after losing in OT. it's going to be another intense game and the boys will be tired. i hope carbo shakes up the lineup a bit but not the lines; i felt like he shook them up a bit in the third (but i'm not sure) and it didn't look pretty. wooohoooo! it's (another) game day!!!! let's bring our road game to beantown...we know it works! Guest Innis_Mor
Doesn't look good for the B's -- Carey, this season, in Boston: 3-0 1.67 goals against average .945 save percentage Five goals against on 96 shots. I might add that Price is playing better now, and more confident (still), then back then.
Guest concreteveins
Today's game is exactly where we should use our depth to smoke the Bruins. O'Byrne, Grabovski, and Stewart are all fresh and raring to go. Rotate them in, give guys like Brisebois a rest, and keep the energy level high. I agree 100% with rotating in fresher players but Grabs might get pushed around. Stewart and O'Bryne are really good choices because they hit hard. If I were making the lines tonight... A. Kostitsyn - Pleks - Kovy Higgins - S. Kostitsyn - Ryder Stewart - Begin - Kostopolous Latendresse - Lapierre - Dandenault Markov - Komisarek Hamrlik - Gorges Streit - O'Bryne Price Halak Spares: Grabovski, Smolinski, Bresbois,
Guest .habsolutly25
Alright, we didn't play great last night but we got the two points now lets move on hopefully a better showing from the boys tonight. I'm calling....ummm a 3-1 win for the "Club de Hockey" we 2 pts eh? lol
Guest vegasrick
As Habs fans, we would all love to see a big blowout tonight to put this series to rest....but what's more likely is that we'll see a bunch of questionable calls (again) and we'll be in the penalty box watching the Boo-ins get their first lead of the season on us, and possibly going up 2-0. How we respond to something like that will tell us volumes about this team's resiliency. As far as them shutting down our power play, I don't believe they've even seen it yet. We've done a fine job of shutting it down ourselves by being so lousy at it now for the past couple of weeks. The boys have lost their rhythm and timing on the PP, and desperately need to get it back, as we will certainly need to score on the PP in the ensuing rounds if we're going anywhere this year. Oops...got to go watch the Flyers beat Washington now.....it's 2-0 at the start of the 3rd..... See ya all later!

Stewart and O'Bryne are really good choices because they hit hard. If I were making the lines tonight...But was that the problem last night "getting pushed around"? (stats had Habs out-hitting the Bruins), or was it getting getting out-skated, out-shot and out-chanced? (thank you, again, Carey Price). Stewie & O'B are great, I really like them, but they aren't going to bring too much additional speed, or (any?) additional finish. Switch them in sure; they'll give a fresh look, fresh legs, rest some others. An impact player would have been handy last night, not necessarily another player to impact the Bruins into the boards (when they could catch them). That would be (might be?) Grabs. My thoughts. Guest Innis_Mor
No Bergeron tonight for the Bruins. I don't think there is any possibility he'll be back this series. This from Bruins GM today: "Chiarelli said Patrice Bergeron still needs to be cleared by the neurologist before he can play in a game. The GM didn’t know when that might happen. . . . "Source: http://www.bostonherald.com/sports/hockey/...bru#articleFullIf he did ever come back, he'd only play PP, I think. Some insight into winning goal last night (from the Bruins perspective): "On the winning goal, forward Tomas Plekanec beat Metropolit on the draw in the Bruins' zone, using a move the Boston center had warned linesman Derek Amell about before he dropped the puck."I told [Amell] that he cheats all the time with his foot. Before [the linesman] drops the puck, he gets his foot in there," said Metropolit, demonstrating how Plekanec often plants his left skate in the circle to block the opposing center's stick. "So my stick gets caught in his skate. He got away with it, so oh, well."Plekanec pulled the puck back along the boards to Markov, who then slid a pass back down the wall to Kovalev. As the No. 1 right wing loaded his stick, Thomas squared himself to the shot, thinking he had positioned himself to close the hole where he thought Kovalev was targeting: under his right arm. But Kovalev's shot deflected off Chara's stick and hopped over Thomas's left shoulder." source: http://www.boston.com/sports/hockey/bruins...es_on_montreal/
Guest kinot1
I agree with putting O'byrne and Grabs in,,,,,,,,,,,,,,it would keep them motivated after seeing what our regs have done,,,and if need be,,,,,they would be kept in game-shape, and provide some new energy,,,,,,,,,,,some players (Brisebois and others) might need the rest . If Carbo would rotate some of the players, then they would all feel part of it. JM2C
