according to habsinsideout o'byrne or bouillion could be in the lineup. that's great news! i missed the cube in the last game and while o'byrne might not be the fastest skater, i don't think the bruins are too fast for him either ;) . move streit up and use both of them!

it's torture until the puck drops <_< .

as carey31price just said we won't know the changes untill later, but Francois Gagnon confirmed that Francis Bouillon wouldn't play as he is still hurt, every other player that can will be on the ice (even Stewart) and Carbo won't announce anything. By the way Grabovski hasn't even gone to Boston with the team as the doctors apparently told him to stay at home, that is one long flu. ;)

1. we have to use our skating abiltiy, the goons are out muking us on the boards.

2. higgins and ryder need to step up

3. stop giving up the blue line, i know the broons want to dump but we cant cheat and give up the zone, we have to stand up and then out race them if they dump in

Not sure of your source, which is fine, but I like that approach. Shows his mind is in the game which SHOULD translate to the players minds being in the game.

Some one else said it perfectly, we score 3 and we win. That's 2 of 5 PP's and an even or better yet short handed goal.

OK now I'm officially dying. Lets get on with the slaughteration.

Carbo finally recognizing that you just can't broadcast everything and keep coming back with the same line-up and same lines, same strategy, same PP work. Back-to-back-to-back-to... games means the other team is working away between games adapting.

Carbo didn't get any NHL play-off coaching experience last year. He is getting some now. As I said before, as a coach I would have tweaked some things for Game 2 -- watched tapes of my own (Hab) team after Game 1 and guessed at what Boston was tweaking and responded -- and not give the Bruin players the exact thing their coach (Julien) had been grooming them for two days to see. (Game 3 -- Habs bring the same thing yet again :blink: .)

WHAT,

Ok i know we had a great season with not many getting injured..

but if you think about it

Our top pair D Komi was injured, doubtlfully @ 100% but playing

Koivu still injured, Wont be back for a while still

Bouillion Still injured probably another week +

Grabs still has the flu????????? Been what 2+ weeks now?

Who else am i forgeting, Ryder hurts his knee.

This all happening @ once.. If we can fight through these injuries we will only be better when they all return and heal

Finally. Play-offs are different than regular season. Avoiding making changes when you are winning does not translate to not making mistakes.

Didnt kovalev have the Flu @ the same time as GRABS + Pleks had it a week prior, Kovy didnt miss a single game, and PLeks only missed one.

not that im saying Grabs should even be in our lineup or anything.. But still come on now

Will, I am off. Habs are 2-0 when I put on my Habs red jersey and Habs ball cap and go run errands in Kanata. I will try and go 3-0 today.
