Guest dritz123
That's a great observation. They are a much different team now then they were when these two teams played earlier. Healthier, too. I still think the Habs are the better team, but they will get in trouble if they overlook the Flyers. If they can be consistent and Biron has a good series, they can certainly make it interesting.I know you from the Flyers boards, I'm goflyers412. I hope after the last round scare the HABS don't overlook any team - espacially the Flyers who have alot of size and some quality forwards who can put the puck in the net
Guest TheFly
Hello Habs fans, Flyers fan here. Obviously ecstatic over the win tonight, but I will admit that I'd much rather play the Rangers than the Habs. Obviously, the Flyers have not matched up well against the Habs this year, and you guys have an extremely balanced team. Not that I don't think my Flyers are capable of the win, because I do, but if I had to predict right now, I'd say Canadiens in 6. Regardless, it's the playoffs, and anything can happen. LET'S GO FLYERS!!! Welcome, this will be an exciting series no doubt, as I mentioned before, I've watched many Flyers games this year because their style is very exciting. What really gets me excited is Flyer fans at the arena can be just as loud as hab fans on some nights. It will be a great series, and I gaurentee Philli won't go down without a fight, they'll give habs another test physically.
Guest flyeredup
Now the issue about what Hartnell did is =inexcusable yet he is a gamer. Flyers- Habs well my head says younger Habs in 6 my heart says: may the best team win! I am sorry if we have a harsh rep in Philly, seems Montreal has it's share during the riots. Anyways I don't live in Disneyland but Philly Phans like me are diehard and loyal same loyalty and passion as the Habs, Redwings, Bruins, Rangers fans... GO FLYERS.... Someone on the Flyers board who was at the game said this:If this is true, Hartnell's a real *ss!Go flame the Strangers.. seeing Pens fans here makes me... Thing is this: Habs younger, faster, less tired, but some will have mistakes, Koivu, Kostystins?, Kovie: love these guys Flyers, older, tired , but experienced and hit hard.. Briere and Biron:) Nice to have good banter with some Cool Habs fans! Go Flyers.. I still say Habs favored in 6:( I picked the caps to win in o/t today 3-2 from my office this am.. well the opposite happened and I am ecstatic! But one thing about this team is that they're impossible to predict. They've been very inconsistent, and have looked like one of the best teams in the league at times and one of the worst at others. The Caps series is a great example of just how inconsistent they really are. I don't think there will be a sweep, though.

Guest hungryforhockey
After the game is over and both teams are at center ice shaking hands, Hartnell skates around the glass, laughing at the Caps fans and waiving bye-bye to them. Just a downright low class move which embarrased me as a Flyers fan. Being such a bad winner is just a bush league move. The Caps fans threw stuff at the Flyers players. When Jeff Carter was being interviewed by the guy from the Philly station, someone threw something at him. Real classy by their fans. Hartnell waving bye bye isn't as bad as what the fans did. Guest AlexK
Very strange that the Habs play the Flyer on Thursday and the Pens play the Rangers on Friday considering that both the Habs and the Flyers went to game seven on both sides. The Pens-Rags series will take priority as far as national T.V. goes. I'm ticked, as the Flyers looked pretty tired tonight, but I expected this. Guest Habsfan_aedm#10
What's exciting about this series is having teams with young players who can bring you up and sometimes let you you down. It's a roller coaster on ice, however with both teams having gone to a game 7 it should settle the kids some and get more consistancy from them. We're not going to see a short series here. GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!

Guest cp491
It shouldnt and better not take priority in Canada. Well I have no idea what the T.V. situation is like up there. I know it's a lot different for hockey than it is here (our hockey coverage sucks). But obviously with Crosby, Malkin, and co. and the Rangers being the Rangers, that will be the higher profile series, at least here.

Guest feistyboy27
I like this matchup alot for the Habs, but I felt that way before the Bruins series too and it wasnt exactly as I envisioned. I just hope they dont take anything for granted and carry lots of momentum from that great game 7 vs the Bruins.
