SteenIsThaFuture
Hello, I was wondering what is the date we will know the new hockey schedule? I just became a season ticket holder and I'm planning to sell most of the games so the sooner I can the better.

Kravchenko
Is there any chance the Habs will play the Wild in Minnesota? I really want to get to a game, but I also don't want to pay $500+ for a flight to Montreal from Winnipeg, plus $120 for a room and then the ticket on top of that... Would be much better to pay like $60 in gas (making sure I fill up in the US as it is cheaper) and staying at an elcheapo Days Inn. The ticket prices for Wild games are probably a bit lower too. However, there would be nothing quite like seeing Montreal play at home... Might be worth it. However, if they were to lose, I'd be a sad panda. mortwinkler
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that MTL comes to Edmonton this season. I can get sweet seats through work as well as media passes, so that would be perfect.

From what I remember seeing in the St. Paul paper earlier this spring when the Wild season opponents was released they were playing their one game against the Canandiens in Montreal. But better wait for the official word.
franck5890
The NHL schedule is typically released a few weeks into July, about the middle of the month. Last year it was released on the 14th, and the year prior on the 12th.

(1 home 1 away) That'll be great. Maybe they'll do a game in Edmonton followed by Calgary, then I could make both of them. Living out west, I've been going through massive Habs withdrawls. mortwinkler
You get center ice at least? I have RDS, so I don't miss any on TV. I just miss the convience with Ontario and being able to attend quite a few a year. I haven't been to a Habs game in over two years now.

Mostlikely the habs will be in edmonton and calgary this year, as the last time we played either of the teams was in montreal.

Now it's a wait until the schedule comes out. If they're out here I'll get the tix for free, it's just the wait to find out if they're coming here. SteenIsThaFuture
Isn't there an insane waiting list for that? It was 3 years ago when my family became season ticket holders. I just called the box office and they had like 5 available. Got lucky.

Antti_Laxative
The schedule always comes out the day after the MLB All-Star tilt - which means it comes out Wednesday, July 16th this year. And yes I TOO hope the Habs come to Minny to beat the Wild!
