4beforeorr
that goal was the fault of the line that was coming off - the 4th line jumped on after the play had developed, in fact it was a bad change and a turn over that created the chance in the first place- saying that a natural D man had no idea what to do in front of the net is ridiculous - had he pancaked someone- he would have gotten called..plenty of other players in there failed to make their checks - he is back in Hamilton so its a moot point but I sure hope they consider calling him up if the need arises (which it did) again. Dandy as our savior - scary thought. He was playing well before he got hurt - I agree but come on. Don't know how many others noticed that, but you're right, that Pens goal all started with our bad line change, the opposition quickly recognized it and jumped on the opertunity and were able to maintain good offensive pressure deep in our zone. We couldn't defend properly because Pens already had good puck control and our forwads were at this point just running around unable to knock the Pens off the puck. Anyway, good observation. Alot of people don't recognize those little mistakes.

He didn't need to pancake anyone, he just needed to play his man close instead of standing around and the goal wouldn't have happened. Dandenault is a veteran defenseman who was playing very well before his freak injury. Nothing scary about wanting him back in the lineup. Yes, but carbo will probably use him as a forward, no? Please, God, no. Right now, I'd use Dandy-O'Byrne as our third pairing, with Bouillon and Brisebois playing once in a while.
franck5890
knows his role - exactly..2 games, 2 scraps - stepping up immediately - taking care of business before it rears its head. doesn't really matter that he lost both scraps- never really landing a punch -still threw a plenty. nice call up, good luck in Hammertown. I can't judge the second, but the first scrap was pretty much pointless. This team doesn't need a goon, it needs a player that can play the game but mix things up OCCASIONALLY if needed (something we have yet to find -- guys like Komisarek are close, but what we truly need is a second/third line skater who can drop them if need be, if Carbonneau thinks we desperately need a fighter out there). fourtrax
Back to Hamilton he goes. http://www.hamiltonbulldogs.com/article/mo...nry-to-hamilton Thank God. I don't want to see any more of Henry this season, we have plenty more useful players both on the roster and in Hamilton.
kristinoem7
Don't know why people are taking pokes at him. He was definitely not brought up to shut down the opps nor was he put up on forward to score goals. He was brought in for one thing and one thing only...his size and his ability to tame the other team. I don't think having Pacman doing the fighting for us is a good idea. Noticed how neither the Bruins nor the Pens took liberty with our players after Henry made his presence felt in both games? It was a smart move on BG's part to bring him up but now that the Rock's back he has been sent down until further needed. His presence meant a lot to the team. leafer4lifer1
The D is getting wrecked.. we clearly need a big D man who will actually play physical. If it werent for the need to find someone to replace Markov(as impossible as that might be) i think he should get called up for some extra muscle. Nah, we need someone who can add some scoring punch with the loss of Markov. Weber is the right choice. Henry is just a fighter, isn't he? We don't need anymore of that on our team. One Laraque is enough.

Habcup
But if you had this choice... Henry vs. Gill, who would you want right now? Gill!!!! That is how much I feel that Henry is not ready forthe NHl (at this point in time)
flames4eva
Gill!!!! That is how much I feel that Henry is not ready forthe NHl (at this point in time) You actually think the he would be worse than a whimp like Hal Gill? Did you see him struggle in a fight against a player (who was not a fighter) half his size? For a big player I would question Gill's upper body strength... which IMO translates into an inability to handle players in the defensive zone. habsinottawa
It sucks that he is injured, but him and MA Bergergon would probably fill the holes better. Weber is good, but he seems a bit lost out there. I personally think he needs a bit more seasoning.
