keithman
How can you say Avery is one of the worst players in the league? Hes an #@#@#% but hes one heck of a hockey player. Certainly better than Kostopoulous, Begin, Lapierre and the rest of our energy guys. ewww Avery is not better than Kostopolous. Kosto works his butt off. Avery yacks his off. Kosto is respectable. Avery taunts fans like Michael Jackson does to little boys. Kosto grinds out every shift. Avery thinks of Cuthbert having relations with Komisarek. Kosto is a great penalty killer. Avery is a great penalized player. Kosto is solid on different lines and plays to the liking of his team. Avery gets called out by his own team. Kosto plays the game. Avery plays the media and most of all Kosto is a great guy. Avery is a great douche.

Now Modano is beyond angered by Avery's pathetic antics and Dallas struggles in last. and Reports out of Dallas have not been nice on Avery's idiocy. I'd rather get slapped in the face with horse crap, wedgie'd and hung from a flagpole than be told Avery was coming to Montreal.

I'd rather get slapped in the face with horse crap, wedgie'd and hung from a flagpole than be told Avery was coming to Montreal. Dallas isn't struggling because of Avery, Turco's digression curve has been steep, their defense has been god awful and having your best player out for the year doesn't help. Modano made one bad comment about him but he is going to be a pain in the butt it comes with his production. If Avery came to Montreal for a good price I wouldn't care like I said its Carbo job to put a leash on him.
keithman
If Avery came to Montreal Carbo would probably leave and take the rest of the team with him. Modano made one comment? He's made more, indirect ones as well after. And other players have grumbled along as well. Turco is definitely an issue there, but there is no doubt that Avery stirs up stuff in their dressing room, and that can lead to distracted on ice performances from other players. Avery is more interested in being in the newspaper and posing for magazines than he is playing hockey. His stats aren't great either, and last year was a contract year for him. You see how NYR responded to Avery this year? Yea, they knocked him around senseless. Nobody likes him. The only thing Avery produces is lice in everybody's helmets with the way he has the rest of their team scratching their heads. his behaviour is just too out of line. and his production is not worth that. not by a mile. SteenIsThaFuture
Hes being overpaid in Dallas thats for sure, and by the way the Rangers wanted him back but he wanted more money. Personalities can be overcome, lack of talent cannot.
tony1234
If he cut the crap he could be a good player, but that will never end. I would never, ever have him on my team, because he has no interest in being part of a team.
johnny_canuck_21
Im sticking with it, Bruins have a Flip Flop goalie, They have alot of injury prone players. And they are counting on Ryder as being one of there go to forwards.. I guess you won't be winning the prize for the correct guess, but you do deserve the booby prize seeing the Bruins finished first overall in the East. I reviewed everyone's guess, and you were the only one to pick the Bruins. Right now the Islanders are last overall (61 pts in 78 games), with Colorado a close 2nd at 64 pts in 77 games, and then Tampa with 66 pts in 79 games. Diffently the bruins. Think about it Think, that's the key.
QbGamer
Bruins are diffently the worst team this season, I only hope we play them in the first round, so we can show how bad of a team they are...

leafs_rock_go_mccabe
Tampa Bay. Not just for the product they put on the ice, but because of some of the coaching and management decision throughout the season. The way the ran Boyle out of town, how the painted the goaltender's masks to advertise the Saw movie franchise, how they hired a crappy melodramatic coach and then fired him, the Vinny trade rumours, how their new face of the franchise is the most boring, stupid, and lame player I have ever heard speak to the media... Everything about this team stinks.
FlHabsFan
If they do the right things this offseason (meaning a defense that isnt AHL calibur with an AHL/ECHL goalie combo in Ramo/McKenna in nets) they could be a playoff contender next season. The players need to make sure they hit the strength and conditioning training in the off season as well.

Those are intense upgrades when you think about the money required, and players available. I think they have some good young players, but they've shown no signs that they are ready to be a contender next season. Vincent Lecavalier has been a shadow of his former self this season, and he has more surgery coming up (and a ridiculous contract). The moves that this club has made since getting new owners make me believe they are in for more trouble next season.
FlHabsFan
yeah. He just had that surgery today thats been 2 years in the waiting (HTH do you wait 2 years for this?). Unless they get their act together, then even if they do make the playoffs, they will be a 1 and done. But they have the "potential" to do well next year. Potential the key word. If they play uninspired hockey again next season, I dont know what to think of the team.
