SteenIsThaFuture
Should Atlanta finish low enough to have the 1st overall pick, Don Waddell will pass up the opportunity to draft John Tavares, instead opting for Sven Sfadittlehoffen…the little-known 18-year old Swedish goalkeeper who has a 17-39-14 record with a 4.56 GAA and .841 SV% in Sweden’s Semi-Juniors. He’ll be eligible to play in the NHL after his 4-year stint in the Swedish Military. Waddell will refer to Sven as…the diamond in the rough that has gone under the conventional radar. Mauro-Biello
Anybody watched the recent Atlanta games? Must suck to be a full time Thrashers fan but when they play well, omg they are so exciting. Their transition game is so fast and ever since they traded Havelid and Schneider, the young ds got better. Zach Bogosian is simply mind blowing. Anyone who watched yesterday's game against the Oilers know what I'm talking about. Kovalchuk is day-to-day though. But if anyone of you can catch a game while they are playing a game, I highly recommend you watch it. Very entertaining when they bring their A-game. Mauro-Biello
How is Bogosian doing this year? I've only watched a handful of ATL games and I missed the last one vs MTL He was amazing during the Oilers-Thrashers game this week. Scored a one-timer power play goal. Also made a wonderful deke into the offensive zone, and then faked a slapshot to then make a pass, too bad it didn't connect. Sucks it's not in the nhl.tv game highlights. Mauro-Biello
Lehtonen sure is the streakiest goalie in the league, but he's red hot right now, stoppe 49 shots yesterday against the Caps for a 5-1 victory.
