Habs-Benny
I know I'm not the only college football fan on this forum, lots of good games tomorrow and one going on right now between Kansas and USF. Chris Wells is out for tomorrow night's game against USC, should make that a beatdown in favor of the Trojans. Go Badgers!
Glory_Days
I wouldn't call myself a die hard fan, but whenever I've got nothing to do on Saturday's, i watch whatever games are on. I would say the Kansas Jayhawks are my team!

Wayne-1
Quite the game they got going on with Michigan right now.yes, but it looked like they were going to blow a 3-td lead for a while... they're still not a very good team, it's just that Michigan is just as bad now... the best thing about being a ND supporter is most of their games are on national TV so you can watch them most weeks... btw, why are the Badgers playing Cal Poly at the end of the season? aren't they concerned playing such a weak non-conference team at the end of year could hurt them in the polls? ohhh, UCLA really sucks, lose to ND at home for the Irish's first win last season and get totally humiliated today by BYU... the whole Pac-10, except for USC of course, kinda sucks right now... assuming USC is going to the BCS title game, it kinda takes the bloom off the Rose Bowl... Habs-Benny
I have no idea why they'd schedule Cal Poly at the end. They do have a fairly strong conference schedule with Ohio State and Penn State in back to back weeks. They should be able to finish the job against Fresno State tonight. It's kind of funny to me that Notre Dame beats Michigan and the only thing anybody wants to talk about is Charlie Wies's knee. UCLA beat an overrated Tennessee team so that's why everybody thought they were good, BYU just crushed them and I personally don't think BYU is a top notch team, especially after that squeeker against Washington. I agree, USC will be in the title game, possibly against Oklahoma.
Zonave
Go Blue! Michigan football will be back next year when Rich can recruit under his system, not carr's. The Notre Dame game wasnt too bad but we fumbled way too much. otherwise, we could have won. I would love to see Usc vs. Oklahoma in the national championship, georgia wouldnt bee too bad either. habsfanfla
So Colorado wants to join the Pac-10 and the Nebraska folks have said they would like to join the Big-Ten, I guess we find out today who else is going where and what happens to the Big 12...... Wow..USC spanked by the NCAA..no bowl games for two years and loss of scholarships...they said on ESPN today that Miami took a similar punishment in the mid nineties and it took them almost tem years to get back to ten win seasons...no wonder Pete Carroll left..... OH and by the way......GO BLUE!!!!
CANADIENS27
Colorado and Nebraska have made their moves. Isn't that going to create hugh expenses? Why would the Big Ten take in Nebraska since it is lagging academically? Football isn't quite the religion in the Big Ten as the Big 12 or the SEC. The are two MLB teams, two NFL teams, one NHL team, and one MLS team in the state of Ohio (inaddition to numerous minor league teams from numerous sports). None of them comes close to Ohio State football. Any added travel expenses will be more than offset by increasing the reach of the Big Ten to new markets. Academics in the Big Ten are quite over rated. It wasn't too long ago that there were almost no entry requirements to OSU for residents of the state. Why would the Big Ten take in Nebraska since it is lagging academically? Football isn't quite the religion in the Big Ten as the Big 12 or the SEC. Word is Nebraska wanted out because they felt like a "step-child" in the Big12..Texas was the big dog and everyone else got in line...in the Big 10 everyone is treated as an equal as far as money goes..TV money is split evenly among all the teams so Nebraska will make money on this move because they will get more TV money in the Big 10 than they would in the Big 12.......I'm not sure but I think per school the Big 10 makes more than any other conference in TV money....you have to remember they have their own network as well as contracts with major networks and ESPN As far as the Big 10 is concerned, Nebraska brings a tradtion of football power with them and they are poised to be one of the best teams in the country once again, they are on the rise.....and besides this gives the Big 10 -12 teams now, so very soon there will be two divisions and a championship game...cha ching!! oh and by the way.....GO BLUE!!!!! CANADIENS27
So what happens to the Big 12 now? Are they going to try to lure other schools into their conference? What is Lane Kiffin thinking now and will Michigan still have a good recruiting class with the refusal of one its recruits?

Larry-Launstein-Jr
Brady Hoke is the new coach at Michigan. Will he bring a defense to the team? Yes. He's a better coach and is more in tune defensively. There have been some changes personnel-wise and coaching wise that will make them better. They still have a ways to go, but I definitely look for them to be better. I mean, even with all the problems they had defensively and with special teams last season, they did make it to a bowl game. I also like the adjustments the are making offensively, going back to more of a pro-set. Denard Robinson will be awesome in this setup, and may turn out to be the next Michael Vick (solely on his play - Robinson's off-field behavior has been great). CANADIENS27
What defensive scheme will Michigan use and what was behind Tate Forcier becoming academically ineligible? Then he transfers to Miami of Florida. Of course he probably thought he wasn't going to unseat Robinson for the starting job.
CANADIENS27
Does that mean Michigan will be able to run the ball against the better teams?
CANADIENS27
Ohio State's Dorian Bell has been suspended for the upcoming season for what sources say is a third violation of the school's drug and alcohol policy and didn't make the trip for the Sugar Bowl. This on the heels of five players, including starting quarterback Terrel Pryor, and Coach Jim Tressel getting five games for exchanging memorabilia for tattoos. Tressel for not reporting the violations. Could this have gone on the "Good Laugh" thread? It does depend on your point of view.
