Michigan 31 Illinois 14. On Illinois's two fourth quarter scoring drives, Michigan's defense was nonexistent. They would respond by shutting the Illini on their following possesions. Denard Robinson benched after hitting his hand on a opponent's helmut. More likely, it was due to ineffectiveness. Next up, Nebraska at noon.

Michigan 40 Ohio State 34 with both teams showing flashes of brilliance at times and being lost at others. Michigan's secondary was out of position on a number of ocassions and Ohio State quaterback Braxton Miller missing open receivers at least times.

Ohio State scored first when the Wolverine secondary left Buckeye receiver B. Miller wide open. Michigan scored the next 16 points taking the lead when an Ohio State lineman was caught holding in the end zone.

Ohio State led 24-23 at halftime, then Michigan took the lead for good by running off the first six minutes of the second half before Odoms scored on a 20 yard pass from Denard Robinson.

Victory was no secured until the final minute when Branden Avery tipped a pass away from a Buckeye receiver and intercepted it, otherwise Ohio State gets a new set of downs. That came only a few moments after Braxton Miller overthrew reciver Devier Posey. Otherwise, the Buckeyes would have had the lead.

Next up, a possible BCS bowl game.
