Methinks I will get an All Star Game one, hopefully with a 79 on it :D

I wonder if they'll also wear the 'barber' socks when they will play with the 'barber' jersey

I wouldn't mind seeing the Brown pants worn with the vintage jerseys (and Brown equipment would be too much to ask eh Mr Price ;) )

It should be quite a treat for those at the Bell Centre that night. I hope people will act with class during the ceremonies, applausing politely...

... and wait til after puck drop to pay their 'real tribute' to the Laffs, chanting 'Leeeeaaaafs Suck... Leeeeaaaafs Suck...' while 'saluting' Finger ;)

Gillett said he recently met a "prominent Canadian political figure," whom he didn't identify, having lunch with a New York financier.

Calling the Canadiens' owner over, the pol said: "This man is the steward of an iconic franchise that is perhaps the most important in all of Canada."

"That's the way a lot of us feel," Gillett said. "We're blessed."

the Royal Canadian Mint will issue 10 million one dollar coins and Canada Post will issue four million stamps honouring the Canadiens anniversary.

"It's because of the history and the sacrifices that so many people made that we have the privilege of going to the government of Canada to ask if they'd stamp a particular coin for us, or that they'd come up with a stamp program," Gillett added.

"This is a hockey club and to have that kind of respect is pretty amazing."

I will be honest.. maybe I am one of those classless idiots... But when it comes to the Leafs I have no class and nevear will.. I am going to 2 games vs. the Leafs this year and maybe its a good thing that I won't be at that one... I am not sure I would be able to keep my self from booing the Leafs during the ceremoney.. I just have far too much hate for them boiling in my soul.

And If I had a few Molson Exs in me then look out I would have no chance of behaving.

Yea, I don't even know why they have the Outdoor Game vs. Edmonton on it...

I ALREADY HAVE THAT DVD. "Heritage Classic"

<_<

That Is true... Its pointless to have a game that is already widely avaible on DVD on there..

But there are other games I would still put ahead of Koivus comeback..

for example.. Every Stanley Cup winning game.

Game 2 of the 93 Cup final the McSorley Illegal stick.

March 25 2005 vs. the L:eafs Kovalev elbows Tucker.. (Iknow Koivus thing is more specail) But this game was fun to watch!!! I will nevear forget it.

There are so many more.

They should have made a top 100 memorable games in Habs history DVD set instead.

It was March 06, not 05 and I don't see how that game is better. I'm sorry, not just based on the fact it was special (which it was) but if you forget Koivu that's still a great game, we clinch our first playoff spot in 3 years. Mostly I just want to relive the fan excitement of the fans, I've never heard the place that charged up and emotional.
