mikejones1
After tonight's games Boston has secured the playoffs berth and the division title. The latter means Boston is out of reach for Canadiens. In another development Pittsburgh lost to Philadelphia meaning, that most likely Philadelphia will be the team #4 and Pittsburgh somewhere in between #5 and #8 (#5 most likely IMO). The latter means, that Canadiens most likely will not meet Pittsburgh in the first 2 rounds of the playoffs even if they make playoffs in the first place. MN is 20. mikejones1
19 is a big number to take down in 10 games, man.............. 9 on average is going on bonuses for 10 games. I would say the bonuses should give us from 6 to 10 MN points. Meaning habs have to take from 9 (90 points overall - absolutely best case scenario) to 13 (94 - worst case scenario) to make the playoffs. Best and worst case scenarios are relative to what is going on outside of the habs control.

Guest
Another little positive is that despite Florida being only 2 points behind us,,, we have 2 extra wins on them ( i beleive its the first tie breaker ) meaning they would need that extra point.
