I remember that roy_133 used to be in charge of who would create the game thread after members pm'd him and he would set up a schedule and which member was in charge of creating a game thread for that particular game. I know that the whole process was scrapped because of lack of interest on the part of our members. I propose that we use this thread in order to assign the creation of gameday threads to different members. It would be nice if everyone got involved in the gameday thread creation. The way it would work is simple. I'll post the game schedule for the month. Here is October's. Once a member commits to creating the thread, it's his to create. Just simply reply here and say, I want to create the gameday thread for Oct. 18 and it's yours to create. Therefore, in order to get things started, I would like to create the gameday thread for Friday, October 10th. Who wants to do October 11? If the moderators feel that this is a good idea, then please sticky it and let's try it, if not, please feel free to offer alternative suggestions and delete this thread. Thanks. Is there a limit as to how many a person can sign up for in one month or is it strictly first come first serve??? Might see 1 guy go nuts and take the whole month. An alternate name seems like a good idea. I really enjoyed the game threads last year. We have some very talented members in here who went to a lot of time and effort to create some of those ( what i will refer to as )miny works of art. Which is exactly what I had in mind when I made this thread. I want to see people take their time and make really great game threads, not just write Montreal vs Boston at the Bell Center.
