I see him being a career AHLer, hoping he can split some time with Delmas and Desjardins in the starter's role.

ATM he is the starter? Don't forget how young the d core is in front of him in fact the whole team tbh.. and last pre season he played a game or two and looked fantastic.. i see him as a back up goalie in the NHL in 4 years.

ATM he is the starter and Delmas the back up because Desjardins is injured still.

According to 985 sports, has apparently decided he wants to stay with the Habs organization now.. the Swiss team he signed with is supposedly not pleased.

In that case I wonder what happens with that Mike Condon guy that we signed. Maybe we let go of him(can we?) or one of Delmas or Mayer.

In all fairness it doesn't really seem like any of the three of them or Tokarski are going to get a legitamite shot here anyways, so why aren't we signing a goalie or two that might actually be in our future plans? Wouldn't that actually make more sense?

Tokarski is young I think so maybe he is in our future plans. Condon is like 22 or 23 also. Not sure about Mayer or Delmas.

I also see Mayer as a career AHLer. He is notoriously inconsistent, while Tokarski has had great numbers for a bad Hamilton team. If Tokarski out performs Mayer next season and runs consistent numbers, I see him competing for Carey's backup. I like Budaj, but I also believe that Tokarski has good potential, and Price would benefit from a young backup who would push him to be better.
