Johnny_rudeboy
I forgot to add that Hamilton’s power play ranks second in the league at 27.3 percent and its penalty kill is a perfect 20-for-20.

Johnny_rudeboy
Here are some changes to the roster: Desjardins finally gets a game in net as Denis will sit out. Flinn is out with a hand injury and will be replaced by Dallas prospect Tyler Shelast. Valentenko is also out of the line up with an injury. He will be replaced by 32 year old Frederic St-Denis. Johnny_rudeboy
A 2 on 1 for Toronto; Chad Anderson played it well and Desjardins made the save. There is 6:19 left in the 1st period.

Mark Belle of Toronto threw the puck out in front of the net and the puck bounced off Jancevski into the net by Desjardins (no chance).

Johnny_rudeboy
Holy double post batman! Pacioretty gets elbowed, 5 min PP for the dogs. Yep, Kronwell charged Pacioretty and elbowed him in the head. Patches had to be helped off the ice and taken to the dressing room. I hope it's not a concussion. Johnny_rudeboy
Not a very good 5 min power play. Hamilton has another penalty with 13:36 left in the second period. At least Pacioretty is playing. Yanick Lehoux scores on his butt after being pulled down on a breakaway (shorthanded). The score is now 2-1 for Toronto. Johnny_rudeboy
The Dogs came on strong the last half of the second period but Pogge is standing on his head. Deja vu of last year playing the Marlies if they lose.
Ives
GOAL!!!... or maybe not?
Johnny_rudeboy
The puck did not cross the line. Lots of pressure by Hamilton but nothing to show for it. I do not have a good feeling about this one. It seems the new Dogs are going to have difficulties with the Marlies this year too. I hope I am wrong.
