Awwz crap, Danis' in net. We're screwed. ;)

correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he get a shutout in his very first NHL game? must be able to do something right ;)

honestly I am not expecting a big blowout and if I were you guys I wouldn't count my chickens before they hatch. The Islanders just might pull it together and give us a run for our money

3-0 win against Atlanta. It won't be a walk in the park.

what is it..homegrown french tenders always play good against us. now is that at home or even while we are away?

Mainly at home, because they usually have granma watching them at the Bell Centre

Our offense and speed will make Mark Streit look silly by exposing his defensive flaws.

;) ;) ;)

This is Danis' what.. Maybe 5th start in the NHL within a span of 4 years? Isles are cursed against us, especially in that Funeral Parlour they call The Nassau Veteran's Memorial Colisem. Higgins always shines in Long Island with his family & friends in attendence. I'm not saying that we'll Breeze though this one but with Patrice Brisebois in the lineup you never know!! 4-0 Habs with 2 PP goals.

Alright. I'll admit I'm a bit lost and a lot behind the times.

I'm sensing trepidation from the fans,

and that's never a good thing.

Is Danis(?) our goalie for tomorrow night? That would be surprising.

But at the end of the day, the Islanders aren't a team we should be worried about

Defensively.

I think this should be a run up game. Give it to 'em quick and pad the stats.

GO HABS GO!

Danis is the Isles goalie ( use to belong to us as a Bulldog). This years Bulldog goalie is Denis.Easy to get confused. ;)

Going to this game tomorrow! Hopefully I'll have some good footage of those wacky Islanders fans for my RandomHabsFan YouTube page... Islanders fans are wacky, right?

Also, call me crazy, but I've got a bit of a bad feeling about tomorrow night. Something tells me the Habs will feel a tad overconfident, and the Isles might want to take their anger out on somebody. Let's hope I'm wrong.

With a 1 week break after the game i would hope the boys give it everything they've got and not let up at any point. These underdog teams are always worrysome.

Who on earth would vote on the Isles to win?

Show Yourself so I can give you a paddlin! :P

I read your post, then voted for the Isles, to be difficult.

The reality is if we won every game we were supposed to we'd win 75 games this year. Things happen, no game is as sure a thing as everyone is making this one sound. We should win this game, absolutely, but like I said we should win 90% of the games we play this year and that won't happen.

This team is better than the the 93 team. Things aren't clicking yet and we are still winning.

What people are taking for granted is that the Canadiens are that good, and the rest of the Eastern conf is that bad. What does that equal? One way ticket to...............

Please don't explain to me that things happen, my earliest memories are of Dryden holding his own in the crease and people talking about Penny being the next Dryden.

I gamble for entertainment :), this game is one for winning margin in the Canadiens favour. If by chance the Isles find some balls, then maybe they get to OT, but after all the PK in St Paul last night, the Canadiens will walk all over these guys.

So I say again, who on Earth would take the Isles? :D:D:D
