arpem-can
Truthfully I was worried about last night because of the lay-off and also that the Blue jackets have some decent players and they were coming off a win at home ...Halac as well isn't exactly inspiring confidence right now either...his shoot -out record is abysmal and we can only hope for regulation wins from him at this point...however I think the team will be less than satisfied with their effort last night -too many give-aways and passes weren't as sharp as they could be..as well the first goal we gave up was terrible and should never have happened...I noticed Lang dogging it on one shift last night but all in all the whole team didn't look sharp (Komi as well)...also I don't know whats going on with Sergei Kost but he looks lost sometimes..I know he scored a goal but maybe a trip to Hamilton will bring something back that's missing as well as infuse the line-up with some energy ( D'agost...Pax or whoever) if we are truly an elite team tonight is the time to show it ...Toronto is mostly a team of plumbers and though they will put out a good effort on this night I see the talent take over.....5-1 Montreal

kinot-1
I hope last nite was a tune-up for tonite's game. I REALLY want our Habs to crush the Laffs ,,,,BIG-TIME, cuz I am going to THE game with my misguided Laff fan GF (who got the tickets unbeknownst to me). I hope the team learned their lesson from last nite, cuz that was pathetic.

Glad some of us still realize that, sometimes I wonder On another topic, the French GDT embraced the Super Hero theme that was started in AK46 and Markov threads last February (the 13th to be more precise). I got carried away with Super Pleky and Bat Signal/Batman (Markov) images back then but for tonight, I'm going with Captain America who always does good against the Laffs

Flying_Lion
Wouldn't it be embarrassing to lose tonight? I have a bad feeling about it. We seem to be coming out flat against them on HNIC. Wasn't that 6-1 game on HNIC? Of course, there are exceptions to every rule. It seems sometimes, though, as if coming out flat is part of the game plan. Since the attitude prior to the season, when it seemed everyone in the Leafs system had written Toronto into the Tavares Lottery, they've played some surprising games. The last thing this world needs is a Habs loss to fuel any sense of Toronto competence or confidence. Hopefully yesterday was just part of the habit of losing after breaks. 1st game to Buffalo after a week off from PreSeason play, to the Ducks after 4 days off, and again yesterday after 5 days off. I would love to see a dominating, 60-minute effort to bury Toronto. After all, it's Autumn; the time is ripe for the Leafs to fall. GO HABS GO!
