yes Bumblebee it was......we score two goals in the first which were apparently great, although I missed them, after that we seemed to fall back a bit in the second but turned it up again in the third.....Denis was awesome, some highlite reel saves and Chipchura has shown he won't be in Hamilton much longer......great playing and great leadership!

Can anyone say anything about Carle, has he been playing well? I'm really pulling for this guy.

Yes he has, still early since he has only just returned, he is very steady and a good physical presence......nothing that really stands out but he has more than replaced Valentenko on a strong defensive core......if the Montreal D keeps on the way they are expect to see him or one of the other Hamilton young guns!

Honestly I think the Habs are really missing a guy like Chips... Frankly we could use him. Just put him on the wing or something. He didn't look out of place at all when they put him there. Would suck for the Dogs but they gotta cater to the Mother Team :)

It is clear that Chipchura has finally matured into the kind of player he should be, his intelligence, ability and maturity really stand out, he is a big reason why this team is doing so well.........he will be in Montreal before long, I hope he stays here long enough to pass the torch and mentor our fine young prospects......but make no mistake he will not be in Hamilton come playoff time!!!!

Chipchura was named Captain on Friday, which makes me think baring injuries in Montreal...he is in Hamilton all year.

Just because he was named captain doesn't mean he has to be held back until absolutely necessary.
