HabsFanInCalgary
Let's hope fatigue isn't the main issue here, because the team doesn't see another back-to-back days off until Dec7th lats be honest. Fatigue cannot be a factor. You have to work hard to get tired..........
Innis_Mor
See, us Greeks gave you those words  Good thing too. Otherwise people would catch on and realize I haven't a clue about which I am talking.

EtLeBut
I think SK74 and RO3 need to be scratched next game or the next couple. O'Byrne's penalty was just plain STUPID and he did it right in the middle of all the momentum going the Canes way. SK74 just looks like he doesn't care (which bothers me to say because I really like this kid). What was that attempt (or lack thereof) when he got that pass from his brother? (I hope everyone knows what play I am refering to-it was in the 3rd period). The puck was turned over and the Habs had 3 guys caught behind the play. Don't get me wrong, I love this team to death, and still give 100% support even through the losses, but a concerning trend is starting to develop. I hope they make me eat my words from here on in. I am realistic that the Habs will lose some games, but a loss is easier to swallow when they actually put some effort into the game. I feel for Price, he played one of his best games. Why can't there be consistency with the offence and defence at the same time? Carbo has to get some of the original lines back together. CH21 - TP14 - TK6 What kind of line is that??? Habsology
I'm not quite sure...but what are we going to do? Fire carbo, hire a new coach, make the playoffs, losing the second round, and then blame the coach next year again? This is becoming a boring frickin pattern. Isn't that the trademark of the Habs? Kubby31
This team is looking really bad. I have sat back and watched them over the last few games and nothing was more appearant last night than the fact that we got outworked for every puck. If the puck was loose they beat us to it. If it were in the corner they came out with it. I watched on several occasions when Kovalev just stood there waiting for the puck to find him. This team has no effort. Maybe it's time our coach calls up a few rookies and sits our big boys down and tells them they won't play if they keep up the way the are. Price was stellar last night and anyone who says anything different knows nothing about the game of hockey. Hint Hint Giant!! Can't disagree with your post, i for one believe it may be time to send a strong message,if you can't give a 60 minute effort, time to sit it out a few games. We all know who should be stepping up,maybe bringing up some guys who would appricate a chance to play (with some heart & passion ). Something has to give here, come on coach, lay into these guys.Crack the whip... GO HABS GO....( Yes,i am frustrated at this point.)
Twillightzone
There are many that are fast to point out Carbo's quatoes after the game, lets be honest here. What he says to the media and in the dressing room is two totally different things! By not calling out his team publicly he shifts foucus from the media and fans to him letting the team of some pressure here. A coach is not only a motivator he is also a politician nowdays. You can only call out the team so many times during a season (offecially before you lose the room and/or it havent the desierd effect). You dont want to spread panic on all levels, you want some distance and some privacy to be able to deal with ceartain things. On press conferences you might want to try and make your opponent coach confused too by giving a false statement etc. Lady's and gentlemen welcome to the game of psychology Maybe some of you are interested in Soccer and heard of a trainer/coach by the name Murinho? He is the master of these things. The same rule applys to hockey, sometimes you want to shift the focus to get the results you want/tme to get things back on track etc etc.

How can you say that this is a game of ' psychology'? I don't need to spend my time on this keyboard explaining the if's, and's, and the but's. However, I will say this: when Carbo shows his 'psycholgy' type of post game interviews, how can you interpret his style behind the bench in various situations? Is this some sort of psycholgy as well? The boy is a lost puppy dog. He may wag his tail (meaning his smirk), but the bone just isn't there!
